2 quakes in Spain cause damage, deaths feared, MAY 11 Prediction correct?

news.yahoo.com

MADRID – Two earthquakes in quick succession have caused major damage in the Murcia region of southeast Spain and fatalities are feared, an official said.

The official with the Murcia regional government said the quakes had magnitudes of 4.4 and 5.2. He said the epicenter of Wednesday's quakes was close to the town of Lorca and the second came about two hours after the first.

The official spoke on condition of anonymity in line with department policy.

With the Planetary alignment and the comet Elenin happening today, predictions that the earth would quake ran wild! However this is the third confirmed 'large' earthquake today!!!! Lets hear what ATS has to say with the day only half over for most of the U.S. Megaquake could still be lurking?

Flooding of the New Madrid Faultline.... an unexplained 'BOOM' over VA..... planetary alignments..... This could suggest that a predicition could be true!

Today's big prediction was for Rome.

This earthquake happened in Spain.

Rome is in Italy.

Prediction Correct? I would say no.

Perhaps, but the 2 quakes in spain were only 5.3 and 5.0 so I don't think those qualify as the May 11th prediction. Not big enough. Though they did cause some damage and lives were lost. I'm thinking a quake today needs to be 8 or higher for the prediction to be considered correct.

Not sure how a prediction can be correct, if it is wrong.
So, I shall repeat....this happened in Spain, not Rome, Italy. Two different countires. The prediction did not come true.

My Parents live in the south of Spain, not far from Murcia, where 4 people have died. They said they can still hear rumbling. Let's just hope its not that bad that they have to come home.

Where did you see that it was supposed to hit Rome? I thought it was supposed to be somewhere in the US? There are just way to many earthquake predictions out there to keep them all straight.

Okay, look at the amount of earthquakes that have happend just within the last 10 hours. THIS IS NOT UNUSUAL!!!!! This is NOT some sort of mystic prediction coming true. It just so happens these two quakes were close to a city.

And honestly, by these numbers, you should be worried about a "big one" soon if you're on the east coast of Australia or New Zealand

Even if the Prediction is wrong, A Earthquake in Spain Is News. Not a common earthquake area so this is fascinating but it could also support the Elenin Theory.

If it were possible to correlate the two, without jumping to any conclusions.

That is insane in such a moderate quake! Those citizens need to be demanding their government do something about the construction standards there. They are living and working in death traps.

That looks so devastating, we need to remember that in many parts of the world older buildings have not been updated with earthquake reinforced standards. So lesser quakes like the one reported here are deadly. I have a thread going here: www.abovetopsecret.com...
Key Planetary Alignment Dates through October 2011

It has lots of information and all this mans observations and predictions on upcoming EQ's , it's worth a look and the video's are all short less than 1:40 secs each. We need to keep the people suffering in Spain and around the world in our thoughts and prayers coco
