Attacked by a demon?

Yesterday night m husband was in the shower and I was in the bedroom preparing to perform healing hands on him. His back was injured as a result of an elevator that fell which gave him two herniated discs. As I was preparing I had an image of me in my head sitting on the bed, but it was a view of me from the corner of the room with white light surrounding me. I thought that was an odd thought. I demanded the image to leave and the image left.

My husband comes into the room with a panicked look on his face and shows me his back. On it was scratches that looked like it came from a cat. They were small hands and the width was about 2 inches. Here's the image:

After this he told he went to brush his teeth and the battery operated toothbrush died and a bubble formed in the toothbrush.

I know this is strange and seems unreal, but I believe in other dimensions and sometimes they can cross. But, when you get attacked by something than it becomes serious. We lit some sage and went through the house with it hoping to keep it away. But I know it only lasts so long. We have had previous experiences with a dark shadow. Three years ago I developed panic attacks in my sleep. I would wake up gasping for air. I even remember feeling something lurking behind or house and enter, at that moment while half sleeping I felt something choking me and I sat up real fast. This was 3 years ago.
This past weekend I was half asleep and was woken by something that slapped me in the face. I thought it was my hair that fell in my face and shrugged it off so to keep my cool. But after last nights incident I can't brush off this entity by reasonable explanations.
I had read a post on here recently that to mediate better you should think of a wooden number and hold the image in your head while counting to 20. I have been practicing this, but s/he forewarned that things might happen. Now my needed help from you ATSers is how do I protect my family from this entity? I know how to protect myself, by surrounding myself with white light and banish them away. But how do I do this for my family and house?

Find your light, that every human have.

Find it and you will feel so much stronger and your mind gets more intact.

Force it to light up the hole room.

Place your entire house and family in the White Light and PRAY! I too believe in other dimensions, however I have never had an experience with anything like you have described. When I am really scared I do pray for the white, glowing light of love to surround me and my house especially when there is bad weather! I live in Tennessee and we are now experiencing a lot of bad weather in recent years.

Did your husband get the scratches on his back while he was in the shower and did he feel anything if he did.

The reason I asked is, I rememeber one time I went bed one night and when i woke in the morning i was covered in scratches some quite deep (I thought something attacked me in the middle of the night) however i realised a few hours later while looking at my bed that one of the sharp springs in the mattress had poked through and pretty much ripped me apart.

Well, I would say get some good ol' protection from God. My family's been in similar situations and their initial response is just simple Prayer. If they -were- Demons, they tend to not like Jesus. Try it out.

Nice excuse if you've been indulging in some rough hokey pokey with a back scratching mistress...

You take sage around your house into every room....and pray for your ANGELS to guard you and your family and surround yourselves in the white light. Pray for protection. As you are going around the house praying you order the entity OUT of the house. You then take regular salt and go around your house and circle it. They WILL NOT cross the salt. Then pour the salt in the window seals.

When you do this....you must wear very old cloths and then remove them after you are done and put them into a garbage bag and BURY THEM WHERE NOBODY will find them...(in the ground)! VERY IMPORTANT. Entities can attach to your cloths.

I was initially prepared to come on this thread and debunk it. Or it was like "not another one of 'those' threads." But then I read it. I'm assuming the scratches did not occur when his back injury did and probably did occur when he was in the shower. Is that correct?

This actually seems to have some validity. The whole toothbrush thing is really weird. I've never seen or even heard of anything like that. The initial thought was night terrors to explain what had happened in the past. But night terrors don't scratch your back and blow up your toothbrush.

Usually the best advice I have heard when dealing with a malevolent entity is to ignore it. Don't even acknowledge it. Don't give it an avenue to exploit you. Then get professional help. Me personally, I would challenge it, but I'm an idiot that way. Whatever you do, I would not recommend you challenging it.

Have you noticed any weird smells in your house lately? Any heavy feelings? Any strange noises?

Have you guys had issues like this before? Have other electronic devixes gone dead or acted strange? When you saw your vision, did you see someone else there with you? or was your vision possibly through something or someone elses eyes or point of view??? This is quite interesting.

On a thread not long ago someone commented that, when they feel the presence, they tell the entity "I have God and you can't have me." They said it seems to help.

see orbs, animals bark and play at nothing and am feeling like being watched most of the time in my home.. Is this a beginning of something? this is unfamilar somewhat to me and wondering if this is how things started for you?

I can tell you from personal experience the only name that scares a demon is JESUS. It's one thing to simply say His name and quite another to believe in Him and His protection. I have experienced demonic activity due to some things I did in my youth. It seemed "cool" at the time but what transpired scared me to the point I never even joke about such things. I don't even watch movies about such things since the movies seem to be farcical compared to reality.

I'm not trying to be a smartass here. I promise....I really am not. But all of you who are telling the OP to use god or jesus or some one elses name to this...whatever it is... have you ever even thought about..what if the "demon" or whatever is an atheist?

What if your god doesn't exist. Would it irritate this thing even more? It would me if you came into my house and started spouting all that nonsense. It would just infuriate me even more.

On the other hand...maybe that's why the appear to work sometimes. I don't like sitting and listening to someone rambling on about god and jesus. I'd leave too.

The best thing in my opinion is to tell the OP NOT to antagonize it, and to call a professional who is experienced in dealing with this. Someone who can help decide first WHAT this is, then how to get rid of it.

The scratches on his back were not from his spinal injury, because that happened in February. My husband is native american and performs in "sweats" where he always sees entities, always the good kind. I've always known he has had an evil entity attached to him. When this all started 3 years ago we weren't doing well, he was abusing alcohol and was very angry. I knew something was following him and began following me. That's when my panic attacks started at night. We would hear things in the house, like the computer being typed on with no one there.
I never felt cold spots or anything too unusual. There were nights you could feel something there in the room with you. Images would come through my head of a dark menacing figure. The dog would bark at noises and things, but that can easily be brushed off.
I just know we are fighting something evil, me and the kids will have nightmares the same nights and wake up exhausted.
Sage works for a little while.
Surrounding you with white light works for the day.
I'm about to try holy water.

But, I think in the end it comes down to the individual to change. Thinking positive and not allowing someones negative energy mess with you seems to work. I can remember when he was mad and I didn't care, his world would be toxic. But when I cared about his anger, I'd feel the presence being stronger and effect me.

If it was a dark entity then it wants you to fear it. That gives it power and pleasure. Trust in the Creator to protect you, and in sincere prayer, ask for help.

As others have said, surround yourself/family/home within a circle of white light, see it as bright as the sun and hold the image for a while. Do this a few times through out the day.

As simple as it sounds, never dwell on fear, anger, hate, worry, and other negative states of mind, that can open you up more to negative forces. Be the light warrior you were born to be and be strong, have faith in the Divine and they will assist you. Remember, if it is a dark force, it wants you to fear it, but you know better.

He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High, who abides in the shadow of the Almighty, will say to the Lord, "My refuge and my fortress; my God in whom I trust." For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the deadly pestilence; he will cover you with his pinions and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness is a shield and buckler. Hmmm...most demons only leave three scratches. In the picture I think there were five altogether. More time and info needed to determine if this is demonic.
