We've received just over 18,000 responses to the survey in a relatively short amount of time... about 60% of which have been determined to be non-members of ATS.

41% female Yeah! I find that a surprising number, but I am glad to see such a high number!

So what does this mean for ATS?

How is this going to help you decide upon the direction the site will advance?

Very interesting, thanks for letting us all know.

I'm amazed at how many people replied. I'm also surprised at the male-female ratio. Everyone knows there are no girls on the intrawebs

I'm also happy to see the massive negative sentiment against "social networking" among ATSers. Good. Facebook and all it represents is pure evil in my opinion, and I'm glad to see others at least aren't too enthralled by it.

Even though they are just statistics

I am relieved at most of the results. Intelligent people who are concerned, and not interested in junk. I'm very disappointed that most of you all are 18-to-34. I could tell though. Judging by many posts I have seen. The level of immaturity displayed at times. So I am in an extreme minority here. As a female, and not, ummm 18-to-34.

The social networking least sounds about right
Guess this just might be our social networking.

And, yes, wow on the number of females! (Unless you guys are playing a joke on us!
)

Interesting all around....

Wow, impressive results, did you account in any way for possible dishonesty? Or just raw data? Just asking.

In any case, you guys might have something here with this forum. Something extraordinary.

These results, believe it or not, are about what I expected for ATS user statistics.

I'm not surprised at all by the level of contribution from female members.

but I am pleased we have so many smart ladies around here.

So what are the chances that you will employ investigative reporters? That seems to be quite a popular want amongst ATSers.

I would thoroughly enjoy being a part of that if possible.

Future surveys might want to include the category "under-employed" to cover those who have had their hours cut, been asked to "take mandatory leave" or suddenly found themselves classified as a "consultant!"

and prefer to remain an "it".

I agree, and to find such high numbers of educated individuals as well.

Perhaps they'll hire some women ot be investigative reporters? After all, I'm told we're a rather "nosy" bunch LOL

Interesting results, the only flaw that I find about it is, how can we determine if lies have somehow tweaked the results?

Just a thought, I guess we could never really tell.

I doubt it. You can't stop people from lying on these things.
