My wife used to say the same thing. She was right. Most of what I read on ATS turns out to be bunk. I am much more selective on what I determine to be valid these days. It's like a delusional sickness you fall into reading stuff here every day. An addiction even.

This supposed wife also claims OBL never left the
compound for 6 yrs. Where did he get his dialysis
treatments from? There was no dialysis machine
in the compound.

Or are you just believing the script as played
out in the press for you to believe? Remember,
9/11. We also had 2 fake passports shown
in the news as well. Sound familiar???

Agreed, sir. A lot of the info here is bunk. However, some of the theories tossed around on here are very plausible.

I put forth some very good points when debating these things with my wife. She just shakes her head and says, "Well if our government does these things they must have a good reason. I don't question their reasoning."

Afetr she falls asleep tonight I am going to check to see if she has cloven hooves, because she is definitely one of the sheeple.

My personal opinion is this;

The reason Pakistan are unable to admit to the media and the rest of the world that Bin Laden was not in Pakistan at the time the US state he was is due to the amount of aid Pakistan is given from the US. Both countries are using each other and Pakistan will be intelligent enough to also know that if they admit to this, the US can very easily turn it around and come out with sum BS that Pakistan is harbouring terrorists and will result in the US having something to invade yet another country.

Why are the so called wife and daughter not being televised, their statements should atleast be on TV for the world to see rather than coming from a third party.

The videos are too fake to be put off as real, those who think they are seriously need to open your eyes.

The guy watching TV seems to look too dark, fat and old to be the Bin Laden we are told to beleive he is.

I am sure this story will unfold and the US will be made out to look like real twats, but what I can't imagine is, what the American people and the rest of the world do once the Government has been caught out???

Inaddittion, if the Pakistani population ever believed their government freely gave up OBL there would be huge problems for them.

You make some good points. I think we can throw the "what are the odds of a 28-year old wife..." one out though. Of course, customs are different over there, so she may not have been able to leave him. Plus, let's not forget that the man is a millionaire. Women are women, be they from the Middle East or the Midwest. They love the money.

As far as dialysis. If he truly needed dialysis, then yes you are correct, the chances of him surviving this long are almost zero. Unfortunately, none of us know for sure if he truly was receiving dialysis.

Seems the president was not all that sure himself.

President Obama told CBS' 60 Minutes he was no more than 55% certain that Osama bin Laden was even inside a Pakistan compound when he ordered the raid that led to the death of the al-Qaeda terrorist leader a week ago.

No evidence that you cite is in the public domain yet. Until it is I'll use Occam's Razor.

One should not make more assumptions than the minimum needed.

As soon as you make one assumption, your logic has the potential to veer off into fantasy land. Right now I see little in the way of proof that the photos are faked or that OBL died long ago. I changed my belief once, I'll do it again if the evidence persuades me.

and their family fortune to pursue jihad.

And yes, he was on dialysis as early as 1998.
In 1999 he had a dialysis machine delivered
to his hideout in Kandahar.

Many have asked where is the dialysis machine? If he was on peritoneal dialysis then the fluid is allowed to flow in by gravity only. No machine is needed. But I think most can agree that there is very, very little chance this man has survived this long if he truly was on dialysis.

What possible reason would the U.S. government need to fake extra videos of Bin Laden for? They wouldn't...it would serve no purpose what so ever. They're home movies that he never meant to have published....that's why he looks like crap. I've got home movies of myself looking horrible, compared to how I attempt to make myself look in public. The facts are: Osama was killed. The U.S. Government found a bunch of stuff there, including video tapes that he wouldn't want us seeing cause he didn't dye his beard first & he looks dumpy. Why is this so hard for you all to understand, or believe?

Don't get me wrong...there is a cover-up here. The cover-up involves the fact that we executed, which goes against international, and U.S. law (though we'd probably weasel our way out...I think that article even states since it was a C.I.A. action they wouldn't be accountable in the same way as the military...not sure that would stand up in court..but whatever...it'll never likely get to that point anyway) Whether you think the execution was right or wrong, though is a completely different point. The point here is....He was killed....it makes sense....all the facts line up. It happened. He wasn't frozen and thawed out, to make Obama look good.....He's not secretly a Reptilian from the planet Draco (or whatever the next conspiracy is gonna be)....He's simply dead. His daughter said so on Arabic T.V.

I think I'll believe her over some random Farmer they interview on the street.

I find it hard to believe that a 28 year old woman would chose to live as a virtual prisoner inside what looks like a hovel for allegedly 5 - 6 years with an aging, possibly ill and impotent man just for the lifestyle and "the money"

I will wait for her testimony before I believe that one...

I can be persuaded. The Paki statement is interesting. We'll keep an eye on that. All in all, there are way too many leak potentials to expose this story. So far they arent talking but I rest assured that if this was a faked event, the truth will get out. Time will tell if this is all a hoax or real.

yes, it does serve a purpose.
It gives the gov's story credibility
by producing a fake witness
and fake videos in lieu of a
missing photo of his death.

Sorry, is it just me or did the fella in the vid look nothing like OBL? I mean, forget that they're trying to feed this junk to the masses who may choose to lap it up, but, wow.

Sure, he had arabic features and a beard but... the bit of profile we got really didn't look like OBL, in my opinion.

he looked nothing like OBL.

However, he did look like the same guy
in the fake 2007 video of him writing and
eating with his right hand. It seems they
used the same guy for both fake videos:
2007 and 2011.

But those videos do not match the OBL
from the 1998-2001 videos.

This is the reason why the gov released
multiple videos at the same time. The
old ones were supposed to give the fake
one credibility to be believed.
