I work in Corporate America and I think 9 out of 10 people believe the media totally, if they even take the time to listen to anything about the news/world. If I try to talk to anyone about Japan they look at me like I am utterly nuts. I have had many people tell me I am being "silly" to be concerned about the radiation. I would not dare to bring out the obvious lie of the Osama tales.

We as a nation have forgotten/been trained to not think logically, independently or with a reflective perspective that considers alternatives. Everyone is on auto-pilot or something, just thinking about how they are going to entertain themselves, not worry about their debt (go buy something else) or how they will numb themselves to life (drugs, alcohol, porn, etc).

The news is carefully designed to be consumed by "Corporate America". That way when others dissent they can be duly labeled as uneducated, unpatriotic or a conspiracy nut.

The media is doing an incredible job of hypnotizing the masses with useless information and debate while the country goes to hell in a hand basket. What we need to do, is narrow down reliable news sites across the net and find ways to promote those to people we know, start to get them off of the puppet government media and slowly open there eyes to the real issues in the country today.

This isn't something that is gonna happen overnight, but the more people we are able to expose to our stories about what is actually happening in the world and the ability to point them to credible sources to try and open there eyes is a first step and everyone who wakes up is going to wan't to wake somebody else up.

The ball is in our court to get the word out and for each of us to make a difference in the world we are all forced to live in at present, knowledge is power and it will set you free, that's why the bogus MSM is in place, to keep us imprisoned.

Ask someone what was the last book they read and alot of them will look at you like you are weird. Everything is now about something/someone talking at them. That is how they get everything that comes at them. Unfortunately for them, they don't seem to realize that everything is deception now (government, business, war, our food, our water, our health care system, all these things have a hidden agenda or truth behind them that people do not want to see).

Just great, your post made me smile, I know I am not the only one who feels this way or is awake and that is always a good feeling during these times when some of us feel alone because not many people we know in everyday life "get it". Thanks!

So I'm sitting here early in the morning, listening to what the MSM is bla bla'ing about. I know, "If you don't like it, turn it off" but see, the MSM is good for letting me know if some kind of raging building fire and stuff like that, is going on.
So the first exciting things out of their alarm starting gate at the top o the hour: Mitt Romney, Herman Cain, or Mitt Romney, or Herman Cain!? And oooooo lookie, Rick Perry, falling behind? Like I'm at the horse races. Place your bets!
AND THEN: Amanda Knox, Amanda Knox! The MSM 'Journalist' in (It's) "Awwwwwww" tone: "She arrived home! To cheers! And tears!" I was mouthing this along with, because it was so obvious, that after cheers comes tears and they rhym! It's so clever.....
