Humans are the creators, friend. If enough human beings want the world to end on that day, rest assured it will end on that day. When are you Christians going to get it? We are the creative poser, we are Gods and Goddess all. Didn't you get the memo?

Don't be a Christian, who asked you too, I didn't. If you don't like my words, don't read them. It is very simple. I was not attacking atheists, I was attacking those who claim to be Christians and are not. Maybe I should use nicer words, no. If the world is still here on May 22nd then this jerk is a false prophet who had done great harm. Would you have me use gentle words on the priests who molested children, it is the same. Someone pointed out that I had compared them to atheists; but, missed my point. I don't have a problem with atheists, I have a problem with liars and to say you are a Christian and then act counter to the beliefs deserves to be corrected by other Christians.

What is really silly is that I have atheists trying to tell me how I should act because I am a Christain when they don't believe in the first place. Why would your opinion have any value to me while I am talking to other Christians about our faith? Why do you even care if I correct other "Christians"? I guess I don't fit your bigoted view of what a Christian is allowed to be. I will be who I am and I don't really need a non-believer to tell me that I must fit their image of "Christian". Oh, the real issue is that you want to believe that we all agree with the idiot Christians, that none of us can think for ourselves or correct "Christians" who teach a perversion of the bible. I guess you agree that the Catholic church shouldn't be harsh on pederastic priests because that would be unChristian.

I don't know why you care if I call this guy a jerk and a nutjob, he is. He claims to be a Christian, so did those priests that molested the little boys. You did not answer, do I need to talk to those priests nicely, in a nice little Christian manner? It is a tirade, I read plenty of them by atheists all the time about believers. Do you correct them and tell them they must be nice little atheists?

Perhaps you can tell me what words I am allowed to use as a Christian. I did not cuss, I did not swear, I did not curse. The words I used were accurate for a false prophet, which is what he is. It fact he claims to have secret knowledge, that is gnosticism, not Christianity. I don't have a problem with gnostics, I do when they are in the church, then they are perverts of the word. I do not correct Jews, for I am not Jewish. I do not correct Muslims, for I am not Muslim. I correct those who claim to be Christian, I am Christian and I will continue to do so. I do not correct over stupid things like how many angels can dance on the head of a pin or minutia. I correct over something pretty big.

The number of Christians who actually believe this man is miniscule; but, the amount of publicity is immense. Atheists look at the stupidity of his words and then assume that we all think like that, he causes believers to follow lies and non-believers to think he represents us and he does not. There are many that believe we are in the end times, perhaps we are, even non-believers think what is going on in the world is scary. How many people on this site that are non-believers think that the powers that be want to kill everyone, do you correct them? How many people on this site that are non-believers say that the world will end in 2012, do you correct them?

I reserve the right to correct the man because he spreads lies, I reserve the right to use harsh words because he perverts the truth. I am not looking to convert anyone, not my job. I don't need to watch my words to him or his followers. He is destroying lives. People are giving up all they own to travel around spreading his lies. Come May 22nd, what will happen to his followers? They will lose faith over his lies. How nice should I be to him and his beliefs?

You may not know the rules for us correcting people. We are supposed to talk to them in private and discuss the matter, he has been talked to by other Pastors, they have even written about it, he did not listen. If he is right then both you and I will have some explaining to do to the big guy upstairs. I will take the risk. I do hope rather than be a hypocrite that you correct atheists who use the same type of language to believers. I have read on this site non-believers who say that we believers are delusional and believe in the tooth fairy, I look forward to seeing you correct your own; but, you will not.

Some non-believer said that what I was saying was not very Christian, I didn't know that non-believers get to tell me how I must act if I am a Christian. Apparently, it is okay to spread hurtful and false information as this man does; but, it is not correct to call him on it. That is wrong.

And please inform me, if the man claims to have secret knowledge, was wrong before and is at it again, is her not a false prophet? Or maybe you are one of the people who believes him. Please inform me where it says that I can only say nice things? I missed that part of the bible. Please tell me that I put a curse on him (it says not to do that) or that I swore (I took no oath). If you cannot then tell which part of Jesus' commandment I broke. Try, love thy neighbor as thyself, didn't break it, I love and him and others need to know that he is a false prophet because the truth sets us all free, even him.

Maybe you are Christian and maybe you are not. If you are then consider the words of Paul, there were an occultist that was acting in one of the churches and he sent a letter to the church condemning them for not removing her from it. Now, I am not Paul and he won't condemn me, he may condemn you for not attempting to remove miscreants from the church. Nothing has changed. If you are a Christian, why do you allow his words to be perverted and say nothing? Why do you allow God's word to be perverted and do nothing? He loves you anyways; but, this is not a minor point, it is not minutia and it being said before the world, therefore, speak up the truth rather than tolerate the lies. Just so we are clear. If you are a Christian you should know the bible and don't be a moron and ask me what chapter and verse or I will tell you and prove your ignorance. If you respond and you are not a Christian, tell me why you need chapter and verse when it means nothing to you.

It does seem you have a great need to postulate and argue your ideas, perhaps by some deep need we others do not feel. Thats ok. But to see the thread turn argumentative as I believe I see it, seems to indicate a need you have of control. Take a breath, take a walk, meditate. God is found within, and always there.

No need to call names demeaning to mankind. Sure, there may be idiots and morons. But there is great power in your karma by refraining from using the terms. Strength in abudance to just know you may be right. One just needs not to call folks out....that makes you a smaller person for it...in a world of much larger issues with the ability to understand, accept and tolerate others....even when you think you shouldnt have to.

It's true AQuestion, atheists are always telling we Christians what we are supposed to be like! I've been told I am not allowed to: be a feminist, be a pacifist, accept evolution, answer back (!) or have any intelligence or tertiary education...

But that is the point, no one knows the time. What we do know is that we should not allow false prophets, perverts, child molestors or other miscreants to speak for us. There are two reasons for this, one is that we should not allow other believers to think we agree and the other is that we should not allow liers to pervert the message of our faither and misleed non-believers. If we remain silent we fail at both.

The church (body of believers) has been weakened not because of non-believers; but, because we tolerate bad teaching within the church. I don't care about stupid arguments over when the rapture comes or how much water you need to be baptised. I do care about blatent, ignorant prophesy from morons do not deserve to be called Christians. WE need to show that they do not speak for us.

Thank you. This thread was meant for Christians and yet although I criticized a supposed Christian for lying, it was non-believers who complained the most. They sure have a lot of opinions about how we need to act. I wasn't trying to fit their image of what a Christian should be and don't think I will or need to. Many non-believers are not willing to consider the possibility of God because people in their life told them what they were supposed to be and think and they in return lump us into the same catagory, that is called bigotry.
