Why are you happy Osama is dead?

Most of you are happy Osama Bin Laden is dead, but why?
Don't you realize that if he had not done what he did, you would not be you? Everything happens for a reason, he killed hundreds of people, I'm not saying that what he did was fine, I'm saying that thanks to what he did you are you right now, the people you love that surrounds you, they are here because of what happened.

Every time someone asks me if 'd ever change anything I've done, I answer no, because thanks to that I am me.

The point is, be happy for everything that has ever happened, good or bad, because that makes you who you are. Don't waste your time hating, because it will only make you sad, angry and miserable, love instead, because it will make you happy. If there is a god, I'm sure thats what he wants, he wants us to love and to enjoy the life he gave us.

to be honest i felt nothing when i heard of his death. some friends were talking about it other day they seemed not to care either. i was starting to wonder if its just the news medi thats all excited about it

Ya me too, its like i didnt even care. i have no feelings on it what so ever. Some one else will just step up to fill his shoes and it will continue

I'm indifferent, most part of me believes its a hoax a scam anyway

I felt the same, but after thinking it for a bit, I have my entire life to thank him, because what he did made me the person I am.

Because he cannot be involved in the plotting of killing other people. He cannot support those who would want to kill others. I'm happy that he cannot harm others, that's all. Granted, I'd be equally happy if he were securely imprisoned, so it's not really about him being dead.

You do have a point that I wouldn't necessarily be the same person I am today...but who is to say that's a good or a bad thing? I have no way of knowing if I would be a better or worse person if 9/11 hadn't happened. I do know that about 3000 people would be around today if it hadn't. One of them might have become a mentor to me, one could have touched my life in some great way.

The events he was responsible for changed my life, but all sorts of things change my life. No way of knowing how I'd be different if those things hadn't happened because I don't have a time machine.

Who would't be happy he is dead? He was evil and brought nothing good into the world. To me, I would look at him the same way as someone who raped a 3 year old. They died? So what, and good? Not all life is good not all people are good.

There is some just reward in the fact he was killed by Americans and not killed by his terms. It actually makes me happy he died afraid, with a gun in his hand, and was shot in the face. Sometimes Karma is bitch.

I'm not happy because he died, I'm happy that he was stopped. And I'm happy for the victims who feel some sort of closure for their loss.

Now, if they could just go after BushCo for their crimes... That would make me HAPPY!

I'm happy he was stopped too, but I'm also thankful for what he did (not justifying it in any way), I would also be happy if Obama was relieved from his position, but thanks to him I have such strong beliefs against capitalism, and I'm happy with those beliefs.
