Ats just went down and now it's running way slow, so I went over to the tube to while away some time and I spotted this ...


Just wondered if its verified.

I'm in New York City...I didn't feel anything, and I was definitely up at 2:45AM (playing video games, lol)...but then again, living on the east coast all my life, I don't really know what an earthquake would feel like if it came up and slapped me in the face, so, I don't really have any authority on the subject...but it apparently did happen, as it's right here on the usgs website:

2.5 is not a quake... it's a sneeze...

I'm in NYC too and I didn't feel a thing. I was definitely up at that time. A 2.6 doesn't seem like much cause for concern.

A 2.5 might "feel" like someone in the apartment 2-3 floors above you shut their door hard.

well two days ago lots of people saw earthquakes clouds in NY and CT;how about that for casuality!!
