Did ATS just get shut down?

Yup, same happened to me too. And sometimes seems kinds slow in loading pages.

What happened was one of the neural tubes that is drilled into a mods' head came loose. This caused a temporary interupt in service, but Renfield wa nearby and was able to quickly drill another hole into the amegdula of another mod and connect a tube to handle the increase in data traffic.

I got 502 and 503 errors.

I think something is up with that coded thread.

okay...yes it was shut down for awhile, according to the error message I got, was probably down for maintenaince....
nothing to see here....let's move onto bin laden, or whatever...............................

For anybody so inclined you can read about what a HTTP 503 error means here its just a server hiccup so no real worries of shutdowns, that usually is indicated by a web server not responding at all.

I would move onto Bin Laden; specifically the Fox News ticker reporting his death on the 28th... if it wasn't now a 404...

What is going on, greeneyed? Was that thread removed for violation or lost in a database error? Could you find out for us please?

Yes, I am so absolutely relieved that there is nothing wrong. Nothing to see here, and thanks moderator for helping us understand these board problems and 503 and 504 error messages. I feel a lot better now and much reassured.

its still extremely slow with me, just glad its back. Wonder what caused that.

I can't receive or send U2U's either.

The site is fragmented with some pages loading and others not. Hopefully, it's just maintenance.
