Yes, he did ... he said for some it will be positive (mutation) - 60% for others not (death) - 40%.

How is this not a positive thing if you're one of the 60%?

positive effects evolution, yes.

I get that. It isn't necessarily bad, especially for the 60%. The change itself isn't bad for them.

However, what do you believe will happen to human rights IF 9% of the population (taking 60% of the 15% of known Rh-) suddenly developed super powers? And that 9% had to go live somewhere else? Where would we live?

I say we because I fully intend to survive this, lol.

If I am one of the Rh Neg that survives, I will not leave my fellow Rh Pos people. I will certainly try to use my newly acquired intelligence to help speed up global evolution, so that 100% can be fully evolved.

I intend to be one of the new mutants. I'm O-.

The idea that I have to leave my well over 90% Rh+ family is unsettling. I don't like the idea of being told where to live, in spite of my new super powers and what not.

And why is it that the people with Positive blood types wont be effected. Did something in their evolutionary ancestry already deal with this ancient disease? Look at sickle cell anemia, People evolved it to help prevent their bodies from getting Malaria. It has its advantages but it also has its negative sides too. I wonder if there are negative effects to this evolution in the dna would be if any.

The person claimed to be posting from somewhere in Russia. His IP was pinged by another ATS member, and it turned out to be true, the poster was in Russia.

2.) The Message Referred to "CX" as something that would bring an undesired change. It was later clarified that CX stood for C/2010 X1 which is the astronomical designation for the comet Elenin.

3.) The Poster is implying that people with RH Negative blood types are susceptible to a virus that is carried by the comet. He bases this on a discovery rumored to have been made by American and Russian scientists working in the Antarctic. The poster claims that the virus has a 40% mortality rate amongst negative blood types.

4.) The virus causes a genetic mutation of some kind in the remaining 60% of infected people with RH Negative blood.

5.) C/2010 X1 is supposedly on an 11,700 year orbit, the poster is linking that orbit, with the mass extinction that occurred a little over 11,000 years ago.

6.) the virus was discovered in some kind of "Artifact"

7.) It has been implied that this virus may be responsible for the accelerated evolution of Humanity when compared to the slow evolution of everything else in the animal kingdom.

Thus far, there is nothing substantial that can used to outright call this a hoax, and the poster is indeed still on the move. Posting in Russia, and (unless I misunderstood) possibly again from Japan.

There is however, copious amounts of news articles and factual data that can prove that not one, but several unknown viruses have recently been discovered in the Ice in Antarctica. Including one, that targets Blood Types that are RH negative.

This thread rules.

I'm O neg, one of the so-called universal donors, but not as rare as that rarest of blood types AB neg .

If 40% of us neg Rh'ers kick the bucket, and the rest acquire some mutation, the RH positives are going to be hurting for blood supplies in specific applications.

If I remember right, and that is no safe bet given how long it's been since I studied biology, but aren't most mutations basically harmless, and perhaps ten percent are detrimental to an organism, while 1 or 2 percent are beneficial?

As an O neg super hero myself, I figured we could form some sort of "Hall of Justice" league??

I emailed the op and got a reply! i asked to explain more about what he means about the 80% and the 20% and this was the reply.

Total Populace: 100 % (2 billion)

+ 80 % 1.6 billion
- 20 % 400 million

Infected:
- 20 % 400 million

60% of people infected (240 million) will be separated
40% of people (160 million) will die


Non Infected:
+80 % 1.6 billion

I picked the numbers out of the air to simplify it..
