Twitter shows you the time stamp relative to YOUR time zone. when she posted it on the 28th she was on PT. now, she is with a sick family member in a state on ET, so when she looked it up now, her "relative time stamp" would have changed.
I can see how this COULD create confusion on her part as in " I guess I posted it later than I thought" only for her to retract it later.

and where was it established that she posted it at 10:43am? I saw where it was mentioned, but who said it first and what time zone were THEY in? the OP stated it was early evening. so, 7:43pm PT makes sense.

Amazing. When I first joined this thread last night there were three. Then a fourth about an hour later.

This is very concerning and dangerous on one hand. There is now unsubstantiated information embedded in many minds as fact. But it is very good on the other hand. With more people looking, chances of finding the ticker increase. I believe the good outweighs the bad. Now how to track everything to find out the truth.

I agree there is every possibility still open that she saw what she said she saw. Evidence seems to be accumulating that there was miscommunication (off topic but a lot of which has been posted here for further research and debunking).

The date in question has to be wrong. Look at where the Dow was on 4-28-11 then look in the link you posted and where it stated it was at

The Dow closed at another new high of 12,763.31, up +72.35 (+0.57%) and intraday high of 12,776.14.

That was reported on the 28th, and on many stations before (just do a google search realtime and go back to the date and you can see people were talking about it).

So maybe the OP seen the ticker speed past and only caught the end that said "Osama Bin Laden Killed" or "Osama Bin Laden was killed" and tweeted about it.

Mikey84 hit the nail on the head with the above post on page 20. Why is this thread still going?

The OP was, in her own words, not really paying attention to the news and obviously mis-read the ticker and tweeted about it. Bin Laden actually being killed a few days later was just a big coincidence. The OP either realises that she mis-read the ticker in the first place and is just playing along now for the attention or she still genuinely believes she saw the 'Bin Laden is dead' ticker. Either way, she is obviously mistaken - it is the most logical explanation by far.

I would like to suggest that anyone searching for relevant information try to use the advanced search options on google. The more we are investigating and posting on this, the more information we are creating pertaining to the subject. Some very vital information could be being buried as a result of increased hits on google. So try to refine your searches.

Again, maybe the most important thing here is that more eyes are looking at this and that improves the odds of proving if it is true, which in turn will allow it to become a most critical piece of evidence in the time/date discrepancy.

I'm probably the only one that has a concern about what it means if it's never proven to be true but becomes part of the mythology that will feed disinformation. Hard to keep your eye on the greater good and tactical goals.

I just checked the timestamp for myself and you are correct. I suppose I did post it later than I had thought. Which could mean two things now... I either saw the ticker later than I thought, around 10:43pm PST on April 28th (1:43am on the 29th EST), instead of between 6:30pm and 8pm, or I just posted it later and saw it earlier that evening. I wish I could remember the exact time I SAW the ticker! I was busy packing, worrying about my cousin, doing laundry and whatnot, and then getting ready for a royal wedding party for late that night / early morning of the 29th. It's a big hard for me to remember over a week later. Sorry that I'm not precise on the time. If it's any consolation, I'm overly confident of what I saw/read!

The PT 10:43 AM, does not match the story you have told here in this ATS thread.

This is not personal. It's just attempting to discount all possibilities.

In addition? You posting a new Twitter right now so we can verify this time zone thing, on the off chance that you two are not the same person, will no longer now prove anything as you could adjust the time zone.

And if by chance this is some sort of hoax or hack job we cannot be certain that someone following this thread would not make that post, which the real person who owns Twitter megneverlands may or may not notice and may or may not take action about. Action like searching out this thread and maybe setting a higher level of privacy? Or maybe action like really joining ATS and posting here.

But I see that might be a moot point now anyway, as the page has a higher level of privacy set

Again, this is not personal. It's trying to eliminate all discrepancies. And this is really all you have, barring finding proof that this ticker was in fact shown.

Even other people now seeing this thread here in ATS or reposts anywhere else and claiming that they saw it tool will probably not help the case. Particularly as there's no additional information to corroborate (like which show it was) and there appears to be a time discrepancy in the timestamp on the tweet and the time you said it happened here.

Finally (for notw) if dantaylorjr wrote a tweet that both you and jeremyscahill retweeted, where is it? Where is dantaylorjr's original tweet. Where is your retweet of it? (I may have missed this.) And where is jeremyscahill's retweet of it? .

Sure we may not not exactly how Twitter works. But we're learning

Guys, is there a thread dealing specifically dearling with and focused on the date/time issue? I've seen it mentioned in this thread, but did anyone create one? Thread title...simple question. When did the OBL raid occur?

We've seen it debated, sometimes with evidence and sometimes not, in almost every thread including this one.

If there isn't one, we need one. We can't attack this as a big messy pile. We have to chip away at it bit by bit so that our foundation for debunking the official story is more solid that the story is.

Well I hate to say it, but "doxing" Megneverlands twitter account shows me her real name, her state, and age (she's pretty young) and phone number. It could be confirmed that it is indeed her, but I don't want to cross any lines about contacting a member in this fashion.

I don't know what you're doing to my Twitter account, but I'd appreciate it if you stopped. My real name doesn't need to be floating around the Internet. I don't know why I even bothered to post this. I was trying to get info out there, but all that's happened is I've been attacked.

I'm 24. That IS my Twitter account. Can we leave it at that? I'm not the one on trial here. We should be asking why Fox News had this on their ticker.
