They will ticker breaking news initially especiallly if the report isn't confirmed, or if there is too little information.

It seemed pretty confident and official, from what I remember. It didn't say "unconfirmed."

No they would not in this situation. It was Osama Bin Laden for pete's sake! They would not ticker that unless they had concrete information. Even then they would not ticker it, they would BREAK IT LIVE.

That was exactly my point in the tweet. I found it super strange that the ONLY place it was being reported was on Fox News' ticker. OBL being killed would be huge news... I thought it was very odd that it was neither breaking news, nor on any other station.

maybe they had it lined up as a ticker item to go along with a broadcast but decided to pull the broadcast and this accidentally made it on to the ticker

Sorry I missed the real meaning of your post. Fox News tickers breaking news even if unconfirmed or they have too little information. Got it! Thanks for telling me something everyone already knows.

But think about it, the royal wedding was the 29th and there were alot of concerns about attacks already! This would have added to that - they probably wanted to wait to release the information until after the wedding.

The OP does not remember every detail. She has no reason to make this up. It's obvious to me, as it has been since the very beginning she isn't in this for personal gain. She could easily make up parts she didn't remember if she wanted to, especially if she was trying to gain notariaty. She hasn't though, which in my opinion lends itself to total credibility for her.

Now if we can just find that pesky video of this...there has to be one out there... A video should be enough evidence to get some higher public figure looking into this.

I'm not sure what all the confusion is. Yes, it looks like Fox jumped the gun and released the news early, but as far as I was aware, it was common knowledge that the "alleged" assassination happened up to a week earlier than the announcement. This is what made the timing of the announcement so suspiciuos. Either you would announce it immediately (within a couple of hours), or you would wait until the Monday morning.

Yes, consider this though
The famous pakistani tweeter whom tweeted the "takedown" was on the 30th
see the inconsistancy yet?

So they are a day ahead of the US,could it be that this guy tweeted shortly after midnight his time and that could put the tweet into the 30th?But still the 28th here...Does this make sense?...It does to me but i don't know if i wrote it clear enough.lol

Yes, I personally believe that a news agency could be invovled in perpetrating lies against the American people and people of the planet, either knowingly or unknowingly.

I also believe it possible that a MSM news agency could have the information and could have accidentally placed it in the ticker.

They could have been preparing the story ahead of time, so that it would be very easy for them to broadcast during the actual announcement. I do not know that is fact and may very probably/easily not be, but it doesn't mean that the information couldn't be known by a news agency and accidentally be placed into the public domain through a ticker or other means,

Yes, they would release this as ticker news too. When the story originally broke and the President confirmed his death, was the news of this ran through the tickers on different news channels, or not?

They mess up their tickers a LOT.

So this could well be the case. A few of us have already mentioned this. We need to keep that in mind.

I'm still searching for videos from those two shows, concentrating on Shepard Smith's show. Not a lot out there.

What would really help is if someone DVR or TiVo'd it.

Bottom line...there are people out there who record Fake News 24/7. When I see the ticker I will believe you saw what you saw. Even if you produce the video what makes me believe its not video edited?

Isn't that what conspiracy theorists conclude about everything the government puts out?

I checked out the actual youtube site and found out the following:

Upload was April 28.
Upload has only one video posted.
He writes about the video in English and in Spanish.
No plates on car, so no way to tell where they are from that.

I tried to make out the language of the music in the video, but I couldn't tell if it was Spanish or something else (it didn't sound like Spanish to me).

My guess: Probably a bunch of buddies out drinking and clowning around, likely with a different title originally. Maybe the uploader changed the title after to get more views, knowing that "OBL video" and the like would be searched like mad on the internet.

Unless you can find the original show from a different source, then it may be found that the show had the information edited out of it and looking for it may be futile, etc. I am definitely NOT saying that looking for it is a bad idea!

Hopefully the show, originally aired broadcast with original ticker can be found.

I understand the skepticism. I'm a skeptic too.

I wish I had known to record the news that night, but I didn't. I hope someone can find the video WITH tickers so everyone could see what I saw. I don't know what else to tell you. I'm confident I saw what I saw.

Has anyone contacted the other person on Twitter who supposedly saw the ticker I saw too? I haven't contacted him yet, but maybe I should.

I believe that we have already moved on from that video. It was weak to be used as any evidence. You are arguing

for nothing with that.

Hindsight is 20/20, isn't it? Funny there is virtually no video from those two shows (the ones I mentioned above) between about 6:30 and 7:30 out there. I think someone who may have DVR'd these shows is now our best hope.
