the only difference between 220 and 110 v is 220 v contains two feeds of 110 so the SOCKET itself is the determining factor not the voltage, phase/cyles may be different in Packistan but that is another issue. Its the socket insertion which is important ,,remember generaters at fukushima,, wouldnt fit.

The wire does not match the current.

I know this cuz I use to work for a company
that manufactured and shipped Air Conditioners
to Pakistan. We had to modify the designs
from a 110 US volt to a 220 or 230 or 240
volt depending on the country who placed the
order
