My mom was in Alabama for business a couple weeks back and she decided to visit the Davidson Center for Space Exploration. She took a couple of pictures and sent them to me, but one really stuck out. She honestly didn't see it until I showed her. I'm not sure what this could be, but she swears that there weren't any planes or stars in the sky. I'm honestly baffled about this, but I can admit I'm wrong if it actually is nothing.

Could be a piece of dust or something that blew in front of the camera? Not a very exciting pic, but its somehow a nice change of pace. Thanks for submitting it, but I can't really tell you what that is.

HAHA!

I honestly don't know! It doesn't appear to be a bug because you can almost tell it's behind the rocket. At first I thought if it was a UFO it could be one shaped like a top, but now...who knows.

Dunno, might be a plane that's blurred by the motion (the rest of the photo is pretty blurry too). Hard to tell what that is for certain.

Yeah sorry but it was taken with a Canon Rebel. That's what lead me to believe the object was farther away. Also the massive spotlight doesn't help the cause here lol.

Cool that you can do that. It looks maybe like a plastic bag that has gone flying up in the air. I don't know either.

Hi Darkcloud. Maybe it was a kite. I only say that because it is a space center and maybe people are doing some type of experiment with it. It is odd. Your first thread huh? Not bad. Welcome aboard!

I have no freakin idea and I don't think anyone will be able to help you much on this one. Too small, too grainy, too little reference, etc., etc. Could be anything.

So, with tongue fully in-cheek, I'll hop on the bandwagon and suggest what it looks like to me (from the enlargement):

It looks like the original Starship Enterprise at a great distance, with a just-stolen Saturn 5 strapped underneath, and making a hasty retreat from Earth (and who could blame them?).
:

That's not it? Oh ok. Never mind...

p.s. welcome to ATS! Keep looking up!

It's a chinese lantern with a moth next to it (one wing overlaps) it is also distorted by swamp gas and the light glare from Venus.

Thanks! My mom said it was about ten thirty or eleven when she took the picture, so I doubt it was a kite but I've been wrong before lol.

Too many circular light or dark disk sources.
Too close to be a cluster of ships.

You know what you picked up.
The ships move so fast they are probably vibrating so fast
you are picking up multiple images.

So if you consider the most modern of ships being the triangle type
and the triangle consistently show up with one or dual disc light
or dark light sources then you got a triangle Tesla ship.
