Thanks... I missed the beginning of the debate, this thread reminded me to tune in, I knew he was the former CEO of a pizza chain, but not about being on the board of a reserve bank... definitely something to check into..

This is one of the reasons I love this place...information... you guys and gals rock!

It was a great start for everyone but I feel like Paul is definitely in the lead after this. Hopefully he can pull in the cash and I really see him having a shot at the presidency.

off topic but back in the eighties I worked for Godfathers..
the parent companies name was AIFAM.. Mafia backwards.. and it was joked about that it was a mafia run business.. Cain doesnt quite fit that impression..

I believe he said role of government.

That was a pretty intense debate. Heres my take

# 1 - Ron Paul
# 2 - Tie between Johnson and Cain......I want godfathers pizza
Santorum and Pawlenty are tied in last.

$883,725.86 in today's money bomb so far. And he hasn't even announced yet. If things play fair at all, money will not be a problem.

Apparently everyone thinks Herman Cain was doing excellent. He has ties to the Federal Reserve though so maybe it's time to dig into his profile. It sounds like media propaganda a little.. I mean, all those people and so very few different opinions?

Thank for clearing that up, he was mumbling a little.

my vote would go

#Ron Paul
#Johnston (he may have started bland but he opened up at the end)

What Santorum said about women really rubbed me the wrong way and even though I am not a woman I am kind of offended. I am a conservative but he could have said what he wanted to say about the family another way. The way he put it he made it sound like he thought the womans role was supposed to be in the house and basically a house slave. What I would have said was I want to make it pheaseable for one parent to take care of the family and the other to work.

And I want to be a unicorn.

Aint gonna happen.

Paul wants to end the wars that make some people a lot of money. The rest of the GOP basically hates him. HE hasnt a chance. ( and I like him and have voted for him, and would again)

I was suprised at that little group fox just interviewed. Did they even ask about Ron Paul or Johnson? I dont think they did.

They said they completely turned their vote around just by this debate. Most said theyve never even heard of him before.....And now hes their #1 vote.....

Doesn't that strike as ignorance? They heard just a few words and were completely swayed by someone who has never held a public office.. He's got their vote after just one debate?

I don't think Ron Paul will get much television time now that the debate is over.

I would think this is the same thinking style of atleast half of voters. This is what were up against this election.

I thought Cain did very darn well, but I dont know his background.I still vote Paul #1 because I know his background and he did amazing in this debate.

Herman Cain was head of the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City he is the ultimate insider. He is the FED. This man MUST be stopped at all costs. Ron Paul [End the Fed], Herman Cain [Is the FED].

Haha! The people they're interviewing on fox said their #2 would be Santorum. What did they say his best trait is? "He was very articulate."

Edit - How many times did Santorum get more applause than Paul during the debate?
