So you think we're crazy do you?

This is a kind of comeback thread for all the msm talk of crazy conspiracy theorists, and the people who label us as suck. As well as a shoutout to said theorists to keep fighting the good fight!!

I have put together a few conspiracies from history that have proven to be true. I'm sure most people who read this will have heard of them but maybe not.

Conspiracies are not a figment of the imagination!

PROJECT MK-ULTRA

But the '50s were often less Happy Days and more The Day the Earth Stood Still, as fears of a Cold War and mistrust of the government were just beginning to bloom. These "delusional fears" were actually rooted in reality, as the government was taking steps toward turning American soldiers into unthinking, unfeeling machines with help from brainwashing and '___'.The combination of hypnosis, shock therapy and drugs like '___' and Ketamine made this seem a possibility, and were investigated in a mind control research program called MK-ULTRA

OPERATION MOCKINGBIRD

Starting in the early days of the Cold War (late 40's), the CIA began a secret project called Operation Mockingbird, with the intent of buying influence behind the scenes at major media outlets and putting reporters on the CIA payroll, which has proven to be a stunning ongoing success. The CIA effort to recruit American news organizations and journalists to become spies and disseminators of propaganda, was headed up by Frank Wisner, Allen Dulles, Richard Helms, and Philip Graham (publisher of The Washington Post). Wisner had taken Graham under his wing to direct the program code-named Operation Mockingbird and both have presumably committed suicide.

WATERGATE

PROJECT SHAD

From where I'm standing that doesn't make us crazy, that makes us intelligent.

Thats true, thats why I like to go into every theory with an open mind. Do the proper research and decide for myself.

I read something today I'll try to find the website again but the writer of the article said "It only takes one conspiracy to be proven true and it will change your view of the world forever" Or something like that I really liked that!

Let's not forget the CIA and it's love of the Cocaine Market:

AlwaysStoned makes many excellent points. Taking the high road, leading by example and striving to be a good and honest person may not always be easy, but it will shield you from those who seek to harm you, or make false judgments against you. Even comic book super-heroes are pure of heart and strong of virtue. It is in truth mankind can find strength, and few truths are greater than being true and honest to yourself.

There are all sorts of terrible drugs we need to avoid; they come in many forms. Being strong in mind and morals requires strength and good health so we can endure and fight the good fight. TPTB laugh at those with lives dominated by alcohol, hard substances, addictive poisons and such, as those people become weak and unable to stand up for themselves.

Mother Nature is the way to go. Put the good stuff in your body, keep your mind active and you will be able to see through the conspiratorial lies TPTB try to hoodwink us all with. We need to be strong and remain vigilant to keep exposing the truth behind the lies!

People have a need to feel safe and secure in their environment and their leaders. So many NEED to trust their leaders because we have become reliant on their handouts.

If people realized that they have been lied to, it would bring so many to the point of desperation in not knowing how to go on leading themselves instead of being led.

Agreed. I also just want to add that not all ATS'ers are here for the same reasons. I guess there is a spectrum of reasons - amongs which we have some paid agents of the satanists, whose job is to try to discredit.

To the MSM and the government officials who try to discredit 'conspiracy theorists' I have to say that pot and kettle come to mind.

The MSM betrays the American people every hour of every day by spinning the government's own conpiracy theories, and they do so in full knowledge that they are spinning lies. The MSM and the government are the spinners of 'conspiracies' par excellence.

So to them I say SHAME ON YOU.

One day you will have to answer for your actions.

Intresting way to look at it. I think you might be on to something there!!

Last night I was talking to my boyfriend about them increasing security in the US becasue of the osama thing and he was like "good we all want to be safe"
I asked him how he would like if there were TSA like people at the malls and other stores and had to pat you down before you went to buy clothes or food. He said "at least we will be safe"
So I told him you would be foolish to trade your freedom for security and he said 'No thats the smart thing to do"

I was just like I can not believe you right now!!!

Great thread. EVERYONE knows politicians are liars and it's a famous stereotype but when you actually question their honesty over a specific case instead of in a general sense, they freak.

In truth, they don't think you're crazy. They know many conspiracies have merit. It's the way to silence and ostracize the conspiracy voices. Step one in silencing the oppositions is to make them feel like they're the only ones complaining or who feel the way they feel. Nobody wants to feel like a freak- everyone wants to belong. So single them out as some lunatic.

There was a government pamphlet about this in the 80's (or 70's?- I'll try to get it from my mother). It was actually a step by step program for government employees to use as tactics to quiet those questioning the government.

Step one in the instruction booklet was to make the questioning citizen feel like an outcast, fringe, and an isolated opinion. I'll try to find it for you. I wanted to make a thread about it the other day but couldn't remember the exact name.

the very word conspiracy has been morphed into a word on the same level as "fag" or "gay". it's an insult now.
if you are called a conspiracy theorist it pretty much means, you are crazy, don't talk to me about anything, your views have no meaning nothing to me. i've lost friends because I tried to explain to them that nothing everything they hear or see is right or the truth. that the government and media aren't the end all be all. that info was too much and I become that crazy guy who thinks everything is a conspiracy, which isn't the case at all. I just try to stay educated and question things that don't make sense. Then I try to help others become educated to get on the same page. Not forcing them the info but trying to get them to think nonetheless.

Thanks! You are absolutely correct! But they make other people who listen to what they say think we are crazy so that nobody will listen if we stumble upon something. I hope you can find that pamphlet I would love to read it!

I know exactly how you feel. That is part of the reason I wanted to make this thread in the first place. Some of my own friends and family pass some of my views off as a big joke. But they never have any anwers to the questions either. Their response when I bring up excellent points to support whatever theory I may be talking about at that time is " I just don't care about it."

Thanks for the link! I didn't find this one when I was looking for ATS threads to link to mine. The list of proven conspiracies is a rather large one! I wonder how long it would take to make a thread listing them all lol! Probably a very long time!

No problem. My dad gave me the list when I was practically a toddler and always said keep your eyes open and your mouth shut. He would have loved this place. Except for the mouth shut part
