I think we shouldn't open ourselves up to demons or any other spirit that isn't God, and I'm having a hard time deciding whether or not TK would put me in danger. But hey, my Religion teacher said that it would be just another energy field, and all (Earthly) energy comes from God, sooo...

I have never heard of it. This article does seem to be closed minded though. Call it a third eye call it being psycho, call it the devil, whatever!!! I think ppl who see the future and talk to the dead are only using parts of their brain others aren't!!! I have had dreams that have come true, i have walked into places and known where things were and i had never been there before.. I think it is just a sixth sense some ppl can tap into. I have also seen ghosts before does this make me posessed ? I think not!!! We as a race are using a very small part of our brain...i think these ppl have found and unlocked sleeping parts of their own brain! We are a society that believes if we can't see it , smell it , touch it, or taste it , it doesnt exist! However I don't think that way, I believe there are alot of things we don't see and don't hear that do exist, we are just too ignorant and closed minded to believe in it, or even take time to stop and look at it! There is a place called Cassedega in Florida where witches and wiccas pratice and I swear everytime i drive through there u can feel the presence there, it send chills down your spine and up the back of your neck. U can sense there is something more there !!! And I also believe that children can tap into more easily than adults and see things we can't ! Whatever it is maybe we should stop making fun of it and condeming the ppl who use it and start studing them and find out what exactly it is!!!!

It blows my mind that in this day and age people still look at everything as an occult type activity. You can pump yourself with prozac, zoloft, metabolife, viagra, ephedra or whatever the new fad is, all to alter your state of mind thru modern day medicine. But do things like yoga, martial arts, meditation, or any other non drug related, physical activity, to do the same thing, and all the sudden you are tampering with the occult.

I see this thread is pretty old but I'm going to comment on it anyway. This power that people call the third eye could very well be demonic. I don't know. But I do know that it exist. That's all I know for certain. The rest is pure speculation or better left to people who are knowledgeable in this area. The rest of us IMHO are just taking shots in the dark. If ever there was a situation for the saying, be careful what you wish for because you just might get it,this is it. I believe that nothing comes without sacrifice. I never knew there was a word for shifting I just thought that was a way I sometimes saw people and places.I don't derive pleasure by saying something and seeing it happen soon after, especially when it involves tragedy. IDK maybe it's all a bunch of baloney. I have read a book by Fr. Amorth of Italy that states his experience with demons reveals that they enter through the senses, the eyes.
