This is what was said in the press briefing on Monday, May 2, 2011, by John Brennan. He says "real time visibility" .....not sure what that means. Real time visibility sounds like it could be video.

Q In the Situation Room yesterday, could you describe how you were monitoring the goings-on? It’s been described as a very tense -- understandably, a very tense scene. Were you watching the operation? Were you -- were you listening to it? How were you getting your information? MR. BRENNAN: The principals convened yesterday around midday. There were others who -- we were here early yesterday morning. The President joined us then early afternoon before the operation got underway. When the operation did get underway, then the President rejoined the group, and we were able to monitor in a real-time basis the progress of the operation from its commencement to its time on target to the extraction of the remains and to then the egress off of the target. It was probably one of the most anxiety-filled periods of time, I think, in the lives of the people who were assembled here yesterday. The minutes passed like days. And the President was very concerned about the security of our personnel. That was what was on his mind throughout. And we wanted to make sure that we were able to get through this and accomplish the mission. But it was clearly very tense, a lot of people holding their breath. And there was a fair degree of silence as it progressed, as we would get the updates. And when we finally were informed that those individuals who were able to go in that compound and found the individual that they believe was bin Laden, there was a tremendous sigh of relief that what we believed and who we believed was in that compound actually was in that compound and was found. And the President was relieved once we had our people and those remains off target. Q Was it -- was there a visual, or was it just radio reports or phone reports you were getting? MR. BRENNAN: We were able to monitor the situation in real time and were able to have regular updates and to ensure that we had real-time visibility into the progress of the operation. I'm not going to go into details about what type of visuals we had or what type of feeds that were there, but it was -- it gave us the ability to actually track it on an ongoing basis.

On topic, nothing surprises me when it comes to the deception of this administration.
Can someone clear this up? Does anyone want the truth? Or is this just another "let's make up our own lies about our oppressors" thread?
SHOW ME THE LIE. Thanks.

You are joking right? The Sun, The Daily Mail, The Telegraph and CNN... the list goes on and on who reported it?
As far as watching it, Check out AC360 for the time and data quoted on the live blog. It was first reported on CNN TV then I updated the live blog with a quote from CNN's blog. Its all right there.
I guess some people are just in denial that they are being lied to by big brother, kind of like little kiddies in shock when the find out there mommy has been lying to them about Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny.

And there was a fair degree of silence as it progressed, as we would get the updates.
And when we finally were informed
PRESIDENT Obama was watching on a TV screen as a commando gunned down Osama Bin Laden.
Via a video camera fixed to the helmet of a U.S. Navy Seal, the leader of the free world saw the terror chief shot in the left eye.
President Barack Obama and Pentagon officials watched the Pakistan-time midnight raid with “real-time visibility” back in Washington.
The footage of the battle in Bin Laden’s Pakistani hideout – relayed to the White House by satellite – was initially said to show one of his wives acting as a human shield to protect him as he blasted away with an AK47 assault rifle.
However later a White House official said those reports were wrong, and the woman who died with three other men, including one of Bin Laden's sons, was not the terrorist's wife.
From that quote, one can infer that they had live audio feed—radio communications—and that the president was watching THE SITUATION. "Watching what was unfolding" does not necessarily mean "watching a live video feed." One could be listening to a radio feed and still watch the situation unfold.

So the article claiming
Mr Brennan did not comment of whether the Washington observers heard gunfire or saw people being shot, nor would he elaborate on the type of “visuals” that were being screened back to the Pentagon in real-time.
did so without citing a source for that information.
Via a video camera fixed to the helmet of a U.S. Navy Seal, the leader of the free world saw the terror chief shot in the left eye.
The article says it, but does not say that Brennan said so. Brennan could have been getting stills, not video, and it still could have been real time. So there's no proof that he lied. Visuals could be any number of things... Satellite or infrared views of the compound could be "visuals". Spy plane footage could have been real-time as well. Or if there was a real-time video feed from one of the soldiers, there's no guarantee he was the soldier who pulled the trigger, or that he was even in the same room when it happened.

It says they were watching the live video feed before that quote!
"Once those teams went into the compound there was a period of almost 20 or 25 minutes where we really didn't know exactly what was going on. And there were some very tense moments," Panetta said. "We had some observation of the approach, but we did not have direct flow of information as they were going through the compound."

"watching the attack as it unfolded"
"One of the people heard a commander shout, "Geronimo! EKIA"
The President, watching what was unfolding, said quietly, "We got him".
They were clearly watching SOMETHING, but were they watching as though through a Navy Seal helmet cam? Were they watching some guy in a helicopter giving them updates? Were they watching reports from a base in Afghanistan? Stills? Video? Did they see Osama shot in the face?
Here's what Panetta actually said:
"Once those teams went into the compound there was a period of almost 20 or 25 minutes where we really didn't know exactly what was going on. And there were some very tense moments," Panetta said. "We had some observation of the approach, but we did not have direct flow of information as they were going through the compound."
To my knowledge, the only White House comment on this at all is that they would NOT say what kind of video they had or were watching or exactly what they SAW.
Just show me, as your OP states, where these officials inside the US Government said that President Obama and other US officials watched live video footage of the Osama Bin Laden assassination raid inside the situation room at the White House.
Seems like they watched the approach, but still, where is the lie? Show me the lie.
Asking for facts does not make a person a "troll" no matter how many times you say it.
Show me where I'm wrong and I'll be glad to admit it.

You are arguing that the Government didn't lie about that, but every news outlet in the world lied.
Clearly the news reports say that the officials inside the Situation Room at the White House were watching the live video feed of the raid and clearly the news outlets reported Obama watched Bin Laden Die.

I could see that. The lie was probably generated by the media (or more likely they made assumptions), NOT by the White House, the administration or Obama, as your op states:

This is what I'm asking for clarification on, repeatedly, and you have NOT given it. Repeatedly.
You are arguing that the Government didn't lie about that, but every news outlet in the world lied.
I'm trying to find out the truth. DID the White House say they watched Bin Laden die? I cannot find support for that FROM the White House.
Clearly the news reports say that the officials inside the Situation Room at the White House were watching the live video feed of the raid and clearly the news outlets reported Obama watched Bin Laden Die.
So that would indicate that the MEDIA lied, not the government. Is that your story?

STORY HIGHLIGHTS
- President Obama is said to have watched live video of the attack on Osama bin Laden
- The White House's counterterrorism chief says he monitored the situation with Obama
- The CIA director reportedly gave the go order for the raid
(CNN) -- As special-operations military troops prepared for a firefight about 7,000 miles away, President Barack Obama entered a room in the Washington area early in the afternoon on Sunday to follow along.
Like a page plucked from a Hollywood screenplay, Obama and other principal coordinators for the mission that killed Osama bin Laden convened in a "situation room" to remotely monitor the situation, John Brennan, the U.S. counterterrorism chief, said in a White House news briefing on Monday.
Obama arrived after many of the mission's leaders had assembled there, but the president joined before the attack on bin Laden's mansion in Abbottabad, Pakistan, began, Brennan said.
Don't you realize there's a difference between watching a live video of the attack on the compound and seeing live video of Osama being shot?
