The helmet cams blacked out but the overhead drone with heat and nightvision was still on.

For the first I cannot link to what I said I have NEVER heard.
For the second, I am watching this all on the news today. I will keep looking for a story. I will give you it could hvae been a chopper and not a drone but I have already heard 3 reports that even though the helmet cams blacked out there was still live overhead video with wall penetrating cameras. I will keep looking for a link but it is not new technology.

Is he saying that Obama gave the Kill order?

I would say when the helicopter went down escalation of force was used and changed for capture to kill in the belief that half the team was down. If you go in with two six man teams and only have one six man team due to a helicopter crash the Plan B goes into effect. Plan C would be airstrike destroy everything.

Something tells me that the Obama Admin is trying to throw the SEALs under the bus.

Considering how many times the story has changed on how and why Osama was killed it would be no surprise to me to find out something illegal went down at the Admin level and using the SEALs as fodder is a move to cover their butts.
