Have you ever thought perhaps English is not the first language for a lot of folk? The warnings I have had were well deserved, but this? The picture on that website is misleading - here's the explanation for the eight objects that appear to be following it:
SpeedN-NM Comet Elenin (C/2010 X1) appears as a tiny, faint smudge in this stack of four 240-second exposures taken on the morning of December 10, 2010, with a remote-controlled telescope in New Mexico. (The quadrupled stars are due to the comet’s motion between exposures.)

From the top, the OP is sourced to a gentleman named Sergio Toscano whose credentials are still being vetted by others in the thread however initial indications are the author is possibly legit in reference to holding professional credentials.

The text dated May 3rd via google translate as follows...

There you have it, I believe the burden of proof has been met and the terra.com article is inarguably spun off of the dailygalaxy April fools prank.

The question now would be is the Sergio Toscano reimagining a continuation of the gag or did he spin the story to include comet C/2010 X1 (Elenin) in place of Saturn to offer up as a legitimate offer to the gods of E.T. media?

Hopefully DJW001 will receive a response and satisfactory explanation but judging from some of the other dubious offerings being peddled as legitimate cases in the terra UFO files I lean towards the opinion that Sergio Toscano is hoping for a little Jaime Maussan style tabloid recognition.

I hope this clears up any confusion regarding the provenance and validity of this topic.

Can we get back to browbeating the "faithful" and "newly awakened" via the application of newtonian physics and orbital mechanics now? Its easier than keeping track of the ufology fraud investigation of the week and more rewarding.
