Is it OK to spy on employees?

Why is it never ok to spy on anyone? There is nothing wrong with spying on people. Knowledge is power.

Where to draw the line? That is subjective. Personally if it were me I would monitor computers, and have security cameras throughout. It has nothing to do with trust, leave emotions out of this argument. It is strictly good business. I think it is very bad business to not have employee monitoring.
