All of their attempts to conjure a fake photo have failed. This is evident in the scores of fakes that were "leaked" online the days after the news broke. They were testing the waters, and since people proved to smart to drink the Kool-aid, they had to change their opinion on releasing the pic.
One day, when they've managed to create a believable enough forgery then the "real" picture will be "accidentally leaked".

It began with the recent down loaded BC from the WH site. The Layered Adobe Illustrator file was taken apart in hours.

Can someone tell me where this "too graphic" stuff is originating from? Literally every comment I've seen from Obama on the matter has been "we don't want to release pictures, because we'll run the risk of provoking attacks."
This has nothing to do with sensitivity, at least not from the standpoint of whether or not Americans are capable of handling graphic images. It has everything to do with not wanting to provoke attacks (hence the "we don't want to flaunt him like a trophy" comments).

btw that was no military transport helicopter that downed.
Looks to me like some sort of spy drone ?
Does anyone know what it is ? :
? ? ?

It was a secretly developed stealth helicopter, probably a highly modified version of an H-60 Blackhawk. Photos published in the Daily Mail and on the Secret Projects board show that the helicopter's tail features stealth-configured shapes on the boom and tip fairings, swept stabilizers and a "dishpan" cover over a non-standard five-or-six-blade tail rotor. It has a silver-loaded infra-red suppression finish similar to that seen on some V-22s.

You mean like your birth certificate photo?
Imagine how the American people would react if Al Qaida killed one of our troops or military leaders, and put photos of the body on the internet.
You mean like the numerous beheading videos?
Osama bin Laden is not a trophy - he is dead and let's now focus on continuing the fight until Al Qaida has been eliminated."
Dam rights hes a trophy, you don't hunt someone for 10 years and then dump them in the ocean after you finally get him. And then not even show proof! WTF!
Oh, and I also love the "continuing the fight until the imaginary foe is wiped out" part.
Maybe they don't trust the white house photoshoper to erase the freezer burn form osama's face and remember to flatten the image like he should have done with the birth certificate.edit on 4-5-2011 by ShadowLink because: (no reason given)

It was nothing to do with your well being. It was to prevent Islamic fundamentalists becoming enraged after seeing the bloody face of their leader.
