OBL Photos will NOT be released

President Obama, who watched the raid from the White House on monitors, saw his approval rating jump 11 points to 57% in a New York Times/CBS News poll on Wednesday.

I'm not a HUGE conspiracy theorist but this one is a definite load of BS, saying they would release the photos then not doing so - I am hardly surprised at this typical Washington move. However i dont think the general population is buying it and this wont help either, every average person i talk to (ie non 'conspiracy theorist') believes this is an absolute joke - ultimately nothing will come of this though, except people switching on the TV, putting on their favourite reality show and forgetting allllll about it, leaving them to continue their corrupt agenda for years to come.

It is pretty funny, on how... at first, they said Osama, ( When approached ) Shot at the seals, now they say, he was unarmed and only made threatening remarks... I guess our guys couldn't take the verbal assault! (Pun).

The fact that they dumped his body so quickly, is a huge mistake by the administration.

The fact that they made us believe they were going to release pictures, and I quote " Helmet Cam video of the Navy Seals breaching the compound " - and now they say they aren't going to, for what? to protect our human innocence? Trust me, I can go on the T.V flip through a few channels and have my handful of things way more gruesome than any man shot in the head.

The government is the biggest goons this world holds today.

They all wear masks and act like they're doing what ever they're doing for the good of the people, and yet, all their doing is covering their own contradicting asses.

Why are you folks complaining? Would it matter if they released photos? No, it wouldn't. You would say they were doctored. If they released a lab report with all the DNA results, you would say it was faked. It they released interviews with every Seal team member, you would say they were lying.

It doesn't matter what they say or produce. You KNOW this. So does the government. Why bother releasing it? There is no reason.

The US Dept Of Defense, The US State Department, The Iraqi National Coalition, The UN did not release the video but was someone using their cell phone to capture it on vid and that got leaked. There was no Govt approved release of that vid as that vid was never supposed to see the light of day.

Cheque your sources before you try and issue a blatant lie and perpetrate a case of deliberate and intentional disinformation.

And if the photos are considered "Classified" they are not available under the FOIA so suing will do no good.

True just look at all the CCTV videos around the pentagon after 9/11.

Only one has ever been released and that is a dubious video. Ironically all this adds to the conspiracy. They then have the audacity to blame it on people like you and I, but TPTB don't give a rats.

You do realize that with today's technology, they could doctor a photo of your mom having a threesome with Charlie Sheen and Pee Wee Herman, and do it so well that you'd believe it yourself right?

Whether you believe Osama was killed or not, the issue that they won't release the photo has nothing to do with them being so incompetent that they can't hoax a perfect image of him dead....And though I'm not one for censorship, I tend to agree with them in this instance. It would never prove he was killed to those who choose not to believe...anymore than showing Obama's birth certificate will prove that he was born in Hawaii will to those who choose not to believe that. We've seen countless threads about that here on ATS. Seeing as how it won't prove anything, what could it possibly do, other than to incite more hatred from radical Muslims? I see no point in releasing such photos myself.

Because on or about 1990 The House of Saud pretty well exiled him and kicked him out of the country, he's been a man without a country since that period. His family disowned him around that time. The order was carried down by The House Of Saud.

I think it's a good idea to not release the photo. Remember what happened when one man in Florida burned the Quran? What do you think Al-Qaeda would do if we started showing off the picture of Osama as if he was some kind of trophy? They're already angry enough that we killed their leader (and went against their customs and buried him at sea) but if we start showing off that picture they are really going to want revenge.

And for anyone that thinks they should release the video that was captured on the Navy SEALS helmet cams, it'll never happen. They don't want our enemies to know the tactics that the SEALS use when going after their targets
