This is not really a question but more of a rhetorical comment, that you can comment on . The other day, my friends and I were talking about our dreams, more specifically the 'falling dream'. They mentioned the falling feeling that you get during the dream, and noted that they awoke immediately after. Apparently this 'falling feeling' in your dreams is related to an OBE experience. I would have liked to tell them that that is why they have that feeling, because they were questioning why they get it, but I knew if I told them about OBE's they would call me crazy, just like my parents did. Have you encountered a similar experience, what did you do about it?

Well hey there, who hasn't had the falling dream?

What I want to know is, they say if you die in a dream you really do die. Has anyone hit the deck and woken up?

Dying to know!

I havent really had a falling dream, but Ive had the sensations. Most of my falling sensation dreams involve me reaching for something, like lemonade or ice-cream thats above me.
Ive aslo experienced it when trying to astral project/OBE.

i read an article somewhere once talking about this issue, they said that these dreams are remnants of our evolution from early apes and monkeys and the falling dreams are leftovers as if from falling off of branches and out of trees.

I must be missing the jungle.

I get falling dreams very often, but no, i've never hit the bottom. I either wake up and nearly jump out of my skin as my mind realises its waking up, or I end up flying down the road.

There's plenty more, but this was first on the list of search matches:
