Osama Bin Laden's 12-year-old daughter was present when U.S. forces shot and killed her father at a Pakistani compound, it has emerged. The revelation about the deadly Special Forces raid in Abbottabad came from officials in Pakistan's main intelligence agency, the ISI, today. This evening the White House said Bin Laden was not armed when a U.S. Navy SEAL confronted and killed him during Sunday night's assault on his compound.

It's a shame the White House won't tell us how it really went down. That will be how P.O.T.U.S Obama will end up messing this matter up instead of letting it be the truth and not some political game he's playing.

The one they did AFTER the first one that they decided to make OBL a hero figure by making him out as a tough guy to the very end [Firery Gun fight, holding women up as shields etc].

Now we find out he was catpured alive and unarmed THEN shot dead by a US Navy Seal. Hmmm.

Now, they are saying that OBL may have had a concealed weapon under his bed clothing and he had to be executed in the manner he was for operational safety. Hmmmm.

I guess one best sleep naked at night when wanted by the USA?

PS. Not that I mind how he OBL died but I just was hoping for SOME TRUTH from Obama. pffff.

and then the white house will say the daughter didn't witness the death, she wasn't there. Then the story will change to she had a gun, then she didn't. A chopper came down, no wait it didn't, oh wait it did, hold on, photos will be out soon.

We are told that OBL resisted arrest, even though we are also told he was unarmed.

How do you resist arrest when you are in your bedroom with have half a dozen fully armed Navy Seals standing in front of you?

To 'modify the story' as you say, that would indicate to me that they:
1. didn't really have a plan
2. didn't have the story already figured out ahead of time and
3. they are totally stupid and inept, thinking that the public wouldn't notice that the story had changed.

Considering that the best military unit in the world performed a surgical strike and took out the worlds most wanted criminal with very little collateral damage, I'm going to assume that their intelligence, ability and talent are not at fault. They DID have a plan and didn't have a cover story at all.

Yes, anon, using Occam's razor, I am going to go with the human error. In the chain of communications coming from Pakistan to the White House, to the reporters and to the public, I'm going to assume that somewhere along the communication line, questions were asked, assumptions were made and the story that we first got had a few flaws that were, or are being corrected, and passed on to the public.

No, I don't believe everything the MSM says, not by a long shot, and we may never know every detail of this event, nor do we need to. But it really doesn't matter to me whether or not Osama was armed, whether he used his wife as a human shield, whether his daughter was there or whether he had clothes on when he was sleeping. I don't give a rip about these details. And it certainly doesn't matter to me whether or not he found time to have sex while declaring a Fatwa. What matters to me is that this president and this military got the job done, and for the first time in a long time, I am proud of them.

I am no fan of the military because of how they have been used during the past 10 years, but this is how our military is supposed to be used. I can say that I'm proud of the people who made this strike and I give them credit, along with Obama.

So, you go ahead and worry about the minute details and spread the idea that we have been lied to. I would expect no less from hard core conspiracy theorists, but I will continue to think critically and not jump on your bandwagon.

We really need to stay away from foreign affairs, I am aware that Osama was, technically ( If you believe he had something to do with 9/11 ) an affair regarding our national security, but our troops are patrolling way to many borders, way to many for comfort.
