Disturbing VIDEO of the slaughter of unarmed Syrian protestors

It's disturbing to see what is happening to these unarmed protestors. I really hope something is done about this soon so the protestors don't just keep walking into gunfire and killing themselves so meaninglessly. Not only that, but reports suggest that those injured are barred access from medical care by the government which means slow painful and possibly preventable deaths.

If that wasn't enough, there have even been reports of some Syrian soldiers being killed themselves for not opening fire on the protestors when told to: see here

So it seems as though this is just lose/lose for the people of Syria with more than 450 dead so far and rising...

Those are the most disturbing images I've ever seen. I almost didn't watch the whole thing, but images like
this deserve to be witnessed.

I feel truly appalled with the goings on in the world today, and agree that videos such as this one should not be censored as they accurately portray the current state of the world.

If this were posted on YouTube it would really get exposure and a reaction. Of course it will be taken down due to gore and flagged for extreme violence within what less than a minute?

Wow, that is horrible.
Denying medical care to these people? A man with his jaw shot off?

What I also find disturbing is the lack of empathy and downright arrogance by some viewers of the actual video, as you will read comments such as:

They (Libya) will only even have half a chance because of nato support... and we shouldn't be in any of these idiot infested, rotten, muslim, murderous, opium smoking baby, hateful, self-destructing, perverted, pimps of their own daughters' countries helping them do ANYTHING, they all deserve to die for even believing half the # they are taught on a daily basis by theiir pedophile preachers and murderous hateful god... It's only the religion of peace because when everyone obeys the leaders of it is when there is peace... and the leaders are insane drug dealing arms smugglers with no care for human life.

I'm just as happy to see them mowed down as to see them rebelling against their corrupt government.

The people that are getting slaughtered are innocent civilians doing no more than walking the streets asking for democracy, and these sadistic comments are just infuriating.

Government is a necessary evil. I'm absolutely disgusted in more ways than one.

That video clip made me feel ashamed to be human, I'm incredibly sadden that I could belong to a species that could knowingly inflict so much pain and despair on it's brethren. I feel absolutely awful for taking my life and liberty for granted while I was wallowing in self pity. How can I complain about my life when there are men and children dying for the most basic right that God gave man, the ability to be free.

The U.S. is far from perfect and I hate the shape that the country is in. But I truly believe I live in the greatest country in the world, not because of the way it is today or the direction its moving in. I believe it to be the greatest country in the world because of the ideals it stands for and the dreams it inspires, not just the dreams of its countrymen but the dreams of people of all nations.

These are bleak times for the world. We need to stand for our rites and for the rites of others no matter how overwhelming the circumstances. Despite being disturbing footage and stories like this need to be seen because how it is for them it could soon be for us. Each time we pause for a distraction those in power steal a little more of our freedoms, each time we remain silent they steal a piece of our voice.

These are dark times, we need to stand together before they tear us apart.

This is horrible, trully disturbing images that deserve more exposure so people can trully understand what death and suffering can look like.

Good catch, OP! I logged in to start a thread because I saw another video, but saw yours so i will just add it to this one. Syria seems to be a very serious situation right now and its odd how the MSM isn't reporting about it like it did with Egypt and Libya.

It appears that some Syrian soldiers are refusing to shoot civilians and are getting shot by their own colleagues in retaliation. This is an extremely sad situation. They are being ordered to shoot even children and "the elderly".

That is horrific. I seriously suggest if you are in any way sensitive then don't watch it - as the image of a dead child with his head in pieces or the man with his jaw blown apart, or the young boy bleeding to death in the middle of the road is ....

Unspeakable.

But i politely ask the mods to leave this up - as it's vital that people should be aware of this.
