A Musical Illuminati Triumvirate: Jay-Z, Kanye, and McCartney

This came to me today as a press release. The interesting part was that there was no text--no write up. Just the caption and the picture. The caption read:

"Paul McCartney, Jay-Z, and Kanye West Meet at the 2011 Costume Institute Gala at the Met."

That's all. Nothing else. This would have just passed me by as another music related press release were it not for three things:

1) No write up. As if the fact that they met was such big news that nothing else needed saying. Kanye and Jay-Z have obviously met before and collaborated together.

So why is it such a newsworthy event that they met at the Met?

2) All three of them are reported to be part of the Illuminati

I suppose it could just be coincidence, but those hand signs just look too intentional. And again, why is it such big news that they met at the Met to deserve a press release?

First of all, I am not a Christian and I am not scared (I actually find the Christian conspiracy theorists to be quite funny.) I have a heavy background in esoteric and occult studies including OTO and Rosicrucianism amongst others. So...

I know that:

It's the sign for "as is above so is below." It's an old phrase, mostly tied to satanism.

However, Fuzzmonster, I also know that it was used as part of Thoth's Emerald Tablets and it is not mostly tied to Satanism. It is a universal truth tied, in part, to sacred geometry and the notion that the patterns that build galaxies are also the same patterns that build our cells. It goes deeper than that, but this is one level. But, it is also used as part of the negative occultic symbolism as well.

I don't think those guys are Illuminati, but see, sometimes people who start pulling in the millions, they have to do something that makes them a valuable tool to tptb.

If they sing music lyrics that normalize the abnormal values that the Elites need people to uphold to lose personal integrity and give up their rights and spiritual values and think like sheep, then that is a good enough contribution that aids the ultimate aims of the wealthy people who want to control this world and have say in who should live and die.

My bad, I guess I accepted ignorance. I have seen the phrase before but I'm new to this sort of thing and I don't have quite the same background info as you, I'll read up on those tablets. I wouldn't have even known there was a handsign for it if somebody hadn't posted a Bin Laden post about it earlier today.

I didn't take personal offense, I recognize where your comment came from. However, it's precisely because I have studied the symbolism that I recognize it and find it fascinating when it shows up in public places. Then you have Jay-Z doing the All Seeing Eye thing and Kanye with his lyrical symbolism-Vigilant Citizen did an great piece on that thing between him and Taylor Swift being part of a ritual. I also heard an interesting interview on NPR's Fresh Air with Jay-Z that was full of symbolism, but that is a story for another day (I'll leave out the Youtube vids of McCartney as a Reptilian.) That's always been an thought-provoking line for me: What is an artist putting out the symbols because it is a "cool" and "popular" meme? And what is an artist flashing the symbols to indicate that they belong to a certain group? I suppose you could make good arguments on either side. I wasn't really saying one thing or the other with the OP, just that given the reported background of all 3 people the symbolism was interesting and the press release was essentially pointless (I see a lot of press releases in any given day.)

Well done sir. And an excellent reminder. Symbols are neutral and their use depends on intent. Positively oriented beings use the same symbols as negatively oriented ones (for instance the Nazi Swastika is an Indian Sun/Peace sign that has been rotated.) As someone from another thread put it:

black magic...is actually symbolism and ritualistic steps to communicate between the densities. This same kind of symbolism is used by positively oriented entities.

In a lot of modern pop there seems to be a semiotic vocabulary of gestures, symbols, and lyrical content directly referencing hermetic magic that stand out to me even though I've only been researching the topic of esoterica for a few months.

Also, if I buy into any conspiracy lock stock and barrel, it's the "Paul is Dead" one. Alarming forensic evidence with facial comparisons.

What folks often miss when addressing this topic from the skeptic angle is that regardless of whether you believe in the esoteric, there seems to be a mountain of data that indicates that they certainly do.

If he is an Illuminati or a Mason then why is he using he left hand when the other illustration clearly shows the right hand? On a personal note I would not like Paul McCartney any less if anyone could somehow prove he was part of a fictional orginization, the guy is a brilliant musician.

It doesn't disagree with me, it is just an illustration from the "Right Hand Path." Again, have you ever heard of the "Left Hand Path?" Both Kanye and Paul are using their left hands.

And I'm not saying it's settled. I'm saying "This is interesting." If there wasn't all sorts of stuff already out there suggesting that the 3 of them belong to the same PTB club, I would have noticed the esoteric hand signs and let it go. It is the combination of things, as I said in the OP, that has piqued my interest.

The illustration indicates that the symbol means 'OK'. What does the alleged symbol that McCartney is making supposedly mean?
