I've messed up my avatar

Can someone help me? I was trying to change my avatar. I use the transparent gif as my avatar and then use a background. I accidentally put the jpg file into the avatar field instead of the transparent gif and now I can't get it back. I just have that big ole white box over there! I've tried to put it back, but it wont work and I can't figure out why. I'm doing everything the same way I had it before, except the pic is different. And no the pic isn't a big white box, lol. What am I doing wrong? Help!

And now the box is grey, which isn't much better.


Aaaaand nevermind. I'm close to having it working now.
