I agree he could have gone rogue, at what stage and what he then did we may never know, I also don't believe that he masterminded 9/11.

@ another question by a different poster talking about the fires. One of the US helicopters have a malfunction and had a hard landing inside the compound walls. When the op was over with, the helicopter was blown up.

You can not say that every terrorist deserves their day in court when they called for War on the US.

I doubt any memebers of SEAL team 6 would be embarassed unless the whole thing is a hoax and at that point you have just ruined the trust of an entire organization of million dollar soliders. I think they would be a bit ticked if this thing is a hoax.

So much speculation, base on so little facts of what really went down. I for one didnt beleive the guy was alive because of his serious health conditions that were well known. if he has been living in this compound for the past 3-4 years, than it is certainly plausible they were able to keep his conditions under control.

The video was not taken from inside the compound...soooo...you are ASSUMING this is true? I have ocean fron property in Arizona if you are interested.

I dont want you to think that this whole doesnt stink to the highest level of stink, because I am right there with you.

This is what I know to be fact:

-Two days ago it was reported the SEAL Team 6 struck a compound in Pakistan
-Within that compound it has been reported that OBL was doubled tapped and killed
-Within 24 hours his body/evidence was dumped into the sea in accordance to islamic law.
-Our government is comfortable with lieing to us because they dont feel we can handle the facts, on anything.

Please tell me what you know to be fact, because the above is what is being reported and most of dont trust anything the MSM tells us, not even what the weather man says and he has no pony in this race.

My guess/theory on his death, I dont think a SEAL put two in him if he was unarmed, it is not their SOP, but I bet someone from the CIA didnt have an issue with it.

Hey, just an FYI. Seal Teams work directly with and for the CIA. This is a known unclassified fact. Knowing this, why wouldn't it be in their SOP.

Wait a minute, the other offical statments stated he was "double tapped" in the left side of the head (while bragging about super secret multispectral vision that isnt super secret at all).

The only footage was the fire in the compound.

Just because a news reader says something it does not have to be fact.

Military special forces dont work for the CIA, they work with them. Military special forces are part of JSOC and under military control.

And I thank Obama, for making that "gutsy move" on OBL.

And I also thank the Seals, for killing OBL's son in the firefight; who I believe was being groomed for taking over daddys misguided and ill advised jihad against the West.

You are correct, although I think they work WITH them. They also work directly for the Navy. They fall under the JSPOC community along with Delta and and I believe one of the Marine Corps Recon units as well.

I just have to believe that the order came to kill him as another poster stated. I am fine with that, but my post has more to do with the fact that there is sooooo much speculation backed by little proof and maybe the MAN wants it to be that way.

I hate to point out the obvious but when you ambush someone the point of it is they wont be able to react in time to retaliate. So the title of the thread is kind of confusing?? If he didnt have time to try to kill them then they were successfull at catching him off guard which is what they wanted when they entered the room im sure.
