Interesting Points for Alien Existance - Please Help

Hi. Long time reader, very seldom poster. I'll cut to the chase and hope it doesn't get removed in the next 24 hours.

I have to give a persuasion speech for my class and wanted to discuss the existence of extraterrestrials. It is only a five minute speech, so I need a few cases that further propose we are not alone and won't be too complex or detailed to explain within the time allotted. I know a lot of stories and of ancient records, but I'm turning to ats because that's what you're good at. You could even post one liners that get your brain thinking....like "If just one of these cases turned out to be an actual alien or ufo, the existence of extraterrestrials is real" or something about the size of the universe, idk. Hope I don't look like a dummy here, but I really want to impress my class!

a relevant case would be dome of the rock with some religious babble and be sure to include the fact the 3rd vid was just awful.

I really couldn't tell if that was sarcastic or what you meant there so I'll take it literally. I'm pretty sure dome of the rock was fake though and I don't want to use it.

The Nasa transmissions are interesting and lend credence to the idea that "space critters" are more than just a cluster of ice particles.

Number of galaxies & number of planets in the known universe. Statistically, it's unlikely that we are the only planet that sustains intelligent (?) life.

Look at the factors that state we are alone. Why would they tell us that when the numbers would point towards them being wrong? What do they have to lose? Why would losing whatever that is be a bad thing? How do they know? Do they know something they are not letting on?

That was why I brought it up as it is so heavily debated because of the separate videos and such but. on a more serial note the nasa transmissions are great.

The Coso Artifact might be something you could talk about. I guess it doesn't necessarily mean aliens exist, but it does indicate there was intelligent life of some kind on Earth half a million years ago.

The proof is in the numbers.....

No way we are the only intelligent species floating around inside of infinity ....

Maybe discuss some ancient archeology such as Puma Punku. I think there could be a few things said about that structure. Also do a search on here, there is a lot of info on ATS about Puma Punku.

You are right. I never really considered the object as important as the geode it was found in, but upon further research, it wasn't a geode at all, rather hardened clay that doesn't take 500,000 years to form.

Well, there's always this video...

the case about the sighting by the south african school children is quite a strong story. a ufo landed and aliens got out and telepathically communicated with the school kids. its a fairly recent encounter and theres a video with interviews with the kids out there. they describe what they saw, what they felt and what the aliens wanted them to do.
should be an ideal story to tell your class.

bob lazzaar/elemant 115. takes little time to explain. he claimed he learned it from reverse engineerd space craft. no mention of the stuff from anyone but him until 2003, all his claims about it were right, metal,synthetic,radioactive, does not instatnly decay. says it powers the craft, where could he have learnt about a chemical that was not discovered for 20 years after he mentioned it, good evidence in my books. i have several others but could probably not do it in the alloted time though

I made a speech in college during speech class that was designated as "persuasive speech". I got a 100 and it was about the possibility of alien life visiting earth now.

Here was the premise, and you're welcome to use it. It's a little dated because I'm old now!

It's 2003. 1,003 years ago, the most advanced civilizations believed, via science, the earth was flat. It took another 500 years to find out it was not. By 1650, a trip from Europe to North America was nearly 50 days long and your chances to survive the trip were around 3:1 odds. Skip ahead 200 years, still the trip was 10 days long. Sure it was safer, but not much so. Today, with $600, you can travel from Boston, MA to London England in 5 hours. If you took the fastest technology available known to man, you could be there in under 2 1/2 hours.

So in only 1,000 years, we went from not knowing it existed, to existed, to 5 hours of travel time on the safest way to travel, an airplane. Right now, science believes the closest planet that could have intelligent life is 29 light years away. What happens in 1,000 years?

but yeah everyone has pointed out some really good stuff, I am no different or whatever from the mass here but one thing that kinda sets me straight into WTF land is....... ok.... so trying to pin it is hard.... im getting there.........errrrrrrrrrrrr......... so many examples....... lol ok
final thought....
do a search on ATS (yeah we all get that one) and find the posts with more positive feedback..aka research lol no pressure but it is for "class" right. and hell if you get those numbers they will in my mind at least clear up some stuff here.
