We Have a Robot for That.

In this thread I would like to see people bring up things They would like it if They had a robot to do it for Them, and free of charge.

Let's avoid the innuendo and leave sexual gratification out of this. [smile]

As You read the posts, give stars to the ones You also would like to have a robot - or robots - for.

I'll start with - cleaning the bathroom.

Um.... Pretty much, a smaller version transformer that can do anything you want intelligently and transform into any vehicle. Thats about it in a nutshell.

Funny how my first thoughts are for sparing myself some type of labor, which in my case is the yard, gardening and landscape. I have so much work that I can barely keep up, and after a hard day's work, getting back out to labor in the dirt and weeds is not quite something I always look forward to.
I also would like to be able to converse with and learn from a robot. Perhaps they could serve as a tutor of sort, not just informative, but problem solving as well.
I would consider installing a legal representative application so that anything I had to sign or get legal advice for, I could run it by the robot, that could interpret all that legal jargon and maybe spare me a mistake. And along those lines, let's program them to be medical experts too, and offer medical help/advice.

If I could have any robot do any mundane task...

It would be one that could mow my yard...

I have a BIG yard, that takes several hours to mow and "weed eat"
So that would be highly welcomed...

ohhh, and if it could make coffee on top of that... oh yeah

I'd go with swarms of nano bots in my body constantly repairing me on a cellular level, upgrading me with technology and doing all sorts of other cool stuff - just like 7 of 9 in star trek voyager but without all that bothersome Borg stuff and no really unsightly body modifications.

Ideally I'd be almost immortal and all that stuff.

A robot chiropractor... aahhh...

And one to do ALL the jobs in the house that requires a screwdriver.

And a R2-D2 unit to follow me around at all times. That would be nice! ( I'm surprised Lucas hasn't made one for the market yet. Technology could allow for its construction. We would only be missing the starship its supposed to maintain, but, meh! )

i suppose this is a robot of sorts . i would like something like the iron man suit just for the flying bit to get around easier

Oh God how I would enjoy a robot(android more of) to help me with inspiration with my writing. I sit there staring at a blank piece of paper for 20 minutes just to get a spark. after that it flows out like a dam bursting.

My robot would make me breakfast in bed with a decent cup of tea.
