I agree slayer. I've been a member here for years, and we have always had a few screwballs, but usually people who believe in a conspiracy find proof and post that proof from a source and we have a discussion. Here, it seems people are just being Contrarian for Contrarian's sake.

Just because the government says something doesn't mean there is an anterior motive.

How about we talk about a real conspiracy... the one where the Pakistani government and military has been hiding this guy for years. Or why didn't the Bush administration try harder to find this guy? He was in a G-d forsaken mansion for crying out loud!!!

I don't know, I miss the days when there was more debate here and less insanity.

Osama's early work might have been groundbreaking, but in the last decade it has become boring and derivative.

He probably will come back with some posthumous releases like Tupac, which might make some money for Suge Knight, but we will never hear a groundbreaking album like 9-11 again.

I see the insanity as well but I am not so sure its from being infilterated.
My view is there are just alot more attention seeking and not by older members.
The amount of duplicate threads has my head spinning and I am amazed people are posting these threads thinking it has never been covered here on ats before.

I agree, and for the amount of low-life trolling and jumping all over people's thoughts, feelings and opinions.. it looks like my teenager's drama-riddled facebook wall! I honestly think some of the problem posters are of that mindset.

I would say that it is perfectly within the corrupt mandate of the FBI/CIA (or in my case the CSIS) to disinform the public on such a widely know forum of the "aware." I think it's only logical that they should try to steer us from the proper path to the truth. And yes, I realise there are probably alot of new people here that aren't fully "awake" yet, which makes their (the dis-informers) job a little too easy if you ask me. In my humble opinion, best course of action for such a thing is if such behaviour is noticed, confront them. Figure out whether this is just some kid that finally found the truth that he wants to see or if there is something more nefarious behind it. Simply evaluating their level of intelligence would be sufficient, I would think. If they sound too smart to be spewing such insanity, there really is something up. Just my 2 cents worth.

I see what you mean kind of, I know there are people paid to put out dis info and try to sway peoples opinion but I go from one thread to the next if I see a thread I like I check it out and maybe post in it and I'm new to posting here at ATS does that mean people think I'm a dis info agent lol? If I was in your place I think I would look at the peoples posts that you think are doing this and maybe boot them or at least make a thread and name names in it so we know who they are and maybe put them on a list. I've seen lots of threads like this one theres got to be something we can do? Who am I to say anything though because I mite be out to sway you all into being people that love America and believe we have the right to bare arms and we should have freedom to know if the food we are eating is posion and know the truth about what is going on around us lol.

I have been watching this site for a few months but recently signed on. Your right about the disinfo specialist. I do not believe people are this naive, but instead they are paid to put BS out so people will get confused. They also love bashing anyone who can think for themselves by name calling and mentioning things like, tin foil hat, birthers, racist, Reptillians, Elvis, Jimmy Hoffa, and other things that have nothing to do with the latest news. I felt the same way as you but didnt say anything. They are very easy to spot, especially since they are so off the wall. I believe we should immediatly call each of them out as soon as we see their BS. Time to destroy them and their game of disinfo.

Actually, all that would do is derail threads, which, if 'they' really are 'disinfo', would be what 'they' want.

I believe 'they' are here, but I also notice that many like to use the term 'disinfo agent' to dismiss any opinion they dont agree with .

Seriously, do you have a better term for the mindless masses besides sheeple? To me I think the word encapsulates the entire concept, but I'm all ears for another term...
