How strange this should come out within a day or two of a thread here on ATS specifically discussing the fact the Bin Laden was killed a decade ago, admitted to by the government and military, and now we have this announcement..
There are many YT videos, of the official record stating that Bin Laden ***WAS NEVER SOUGHT IN CONNECTION WITH 9/11***..
He was *NEVER* hunted for involvement in 9/11.
This is a *FACT*...check up yourselves, and you'll see exactly how large a barrel of BS this 'announcement' really is.
It always was a rouse to get your (and our) forces into Afghanistan...*FALSE FLAG EVENT*..and this announcement is total proof.
If nobody else digs up the videos of the FBI saying that Bin Laden is *NOT* wanted for 9/11, i'll post them.

Maybe now some of the people I knew at the WTC will rest in peace.

Those idiots chanting USA! USA! outside the white house should read-up that it was Pakistani Forces who put this memo out that they 'allegedly' shot him. US forces haven't been close to capturing him since 2004, think of all those billions pumped into Afghanistan finding this guy. The infastructure America destroyed and the lives on both sides lost.
If these Americans want to celebrate that and call it 'progression' then I think i'll remain the 'crazy one' and at least show some self-respect for myself and fellow being.

There is no such Islamic tradition of burying people at sea. This is utter nonsense.
And those pics are fake, the Daily Mail took them down themselves.
Are you Islamic?
en.wikipedia.org...
Exceptions The sacred texts of Islam prefer burial on land so deep that its smell does not come out and the beasts of prey do not dig it out. However, if a person dies at sea, and it is not possible to bring the body back to land before decay, burial at sea is allowed. A weight is tied to the feet of the body, and the body is lowered into the water. This would preferably occur in an area where the remains are not immediately eaten by scavengers. Also, if it is feared that an enemy may dig up the grave and exhume the body, it is also allowed to bury the deceased at sea to avoid mutilation.[20]

I'm a muslim. While I'm pretty sure Osama bin Laden is dead, and I'm delighted that he's dead; I just wanted to say that this Islamic-tradition-of-burial-at-sea thing is nonsense. You only bury people at sea if they die at sea.
Edit: And I see you've posted wikipedia links. Those are very extreme circumstances where you might decide to bury someone at sea and it is something that is virtually never done, but it is by no means a tradition.edit on 2-5-2011 by little_green_man because: (no reason given)
It is also to stop "mutilation" that is also part of the Islamic Burial EXCEPTIONS. not just dying at sea. You didn't read the whole quote.
Do you want a shrine and pilgrimages to his burial spot? Like Lennon? or perhaps people going over to piss on it and risk confrontation sparking?
