You're missing the point. Something of this magnitude doesn't guarantee re-election. History has proven that.

And, yes, he's the one who brought down Osama with one shot to the head. For better or for worse, he'll be remembered for it, re-elected or not.

People will make of a situation what they want. And nobody truly has to discredit Obama, he's been doing a perfect job of that on his own.

Obama said in the beginning - he would take each issue - study it - then make an informed decision. No "gut" decisions - - and not in any particular order.
