The monarchy is probably the one subject where I am a bit of neutral fence sitter.

They have no real impact in either mine or anyone else who I know lives.
To be honest I consider them an irrelevance.

There are far more important things to protest or get wound up about in this country especially our outdated and unrepresentative electoral and government process and procedures.

I haven't watched much of the ceremony, it was on tv whilst I was feeding my grandson, but I must admit that whilst I do find The Royal Family something of an anachronism there is something quintissentially British about them and no-one can match the pomp and pageantry they put on on such occassions.

I think there is a long overdue need for debate over their future role, if any, but I genuinely feel it can wait for another more suitable day and like all newly wed couples they should be allowed to enjoy their wedding day.

And on a bit of an aside I find it quite ironic that some people criticise them and use their German / Greek ancestry against them then take quite the opposite viewpoint when discussing other topics and spray accusations of racism around like the aptly proverbial confetti!

what makes me sick is why have they got the power to make it a bank holiday? and no one else? the royal family are in a sick cult and are related to george bush ,it's all the same bloodline here to control humanity, wake up people! we need to expose these people for who they are.These people are laughing at you because you look up to them like they are something special and they feed off of your power that you give away to them.

Integration is about embracing a countries way of life - they still cling to old german traditions, which I would say means they haven't attempted to integrate.

Besides, last I checked, germans were fair game, along with the french
