He's a politician and sometimes they get so busy they crash where they can. It looks to me like he took a nap during a heavy session in an office corridor or a spare backroom etc, I suppose he forgoes food and water too

I was AMAZED to have found this as it completely changed my view of him because many of us think of him as a mere anti -semitic puppet to a brutal regime!
He earns by lecturing around once a week at a university because he's got a PhD in transportation engineering

Whoa....slow down a little bit. He has a ph.d. --so do millions of other people. (The President of the U.S. has a J.D. degree from Harvard. Are you amazed?) He sleeps on a rug -- So do millions of other people. (Mostly Buddhists and people with bad backs). But not so fast to be "amazed", please. He's a publicity hound. If not, then why allow himself to be photographed sleeping, and also while having his humble meal on the floor? Good PR perhaps?

I'm leaning toward propoganda on the pic. It is clearly daylight and he is wearing a suit, if this was a daily routine he would likely be dressed in some sort of sleeping garment and as president I'm sure he wakes at dawn on most days.
