Recently I've come across some really good documentaries and would like to list some of my favs. Docs are a good way to get people to wake up to current reality and are usually better tools to convince ADHD public/culture. Please list some of yours, knowledge is power.

Here are mine:

Collapse
Corporation (female narrator is annoying, but good commentary)
Food INC
Food matters
Rich Media, Poor Democracy
South of the Border
The Union
Money Masters (oldie but goodie, cheap production)
Wal-Mart High cost of low price
The business of being born

I have many more but those are the ones that come off the top of my head. Interested to see others picks.

Im with ^ him on Ancient aliens, But the very BEST documentary I watched is called "What the Bleep do we know" there is also a "Down the rabbit hole" pack that can go along with What the bleep. The video and book series was truly a turning point in my life
What the Bleep do we know? take the trip down the rabbit hole!

Some very good replies here. Some of my more "fringe" docs are some of Alex Jones, David Icke's (not remembering the names but saw them a couple of years ago). I forgot to mention in my original post Disclosure Project which really opened my eyes on the subject of UFO's. Close encounters (not the movie) was also interesting. Not sure if I seen Ancient Aliens, but I find the theory of aliens interfering with human genes and being the Gods of myths to be very interesting, dunno if AA is about that or not. Keep them coming!

Not a political or conspiracy documentary, but the greatest I have ever seen is Anvil! The Story of Anvil. Funny, sad, epic.

Chewi, two of my favorite documentaries that come to mind:

The Seven Deadly Sins

Who Killed the Electric Car?

i don't want to shove religion on anyone, but in particular the 'Greed' episode from The Seven Deadly Sins was a major eye-opener for me. it revealed to me things i was not aware of about myself, and as a result i changed some of my ways - i think for better.

There is also an excellent documentary about fracking underground gas across America and the incredible results. i'm sorry i can't recall the name. there were many people, farmers and folks in rural areas, who have had their lives ruined because they took the coin and signed the paper. years later they have major pollution, water they can't drink, damaged air, and property that is worthless to potential buyers. very sad to see what has been done to the land.

Ancient Aliens
Michael Tsarion - Architects of Control
Bowling for Columbine - even though I think it's gun control propaganda and hate Mike Moore. Just really enjoy the film.
Food Inc
David Icke - Beyond the cutting edge -- say what you will about the reptilian stuff, some of the other stuff he talks about is spot on, and I enjoy the way he presents.
America, Freedom to Facism - Aaron Russo

A few other decent one's I just saw on my HD and randoms

Fabled Enemies
Invisible Empire
Secret Space
The world according to Monsanto
Louis Theroux BBC 2 specials, mainly the westboro baptist church, nazis and zionists but they're all fun to watch and he shows some of the most wacky people America has to offer.

I've heard of "Who killed the electric car", might have to watch it one day. I'll keep an eye out for 7 deadly sins too.

I've noticed two people had The world according to monsanto, definitely need to watch that because IMO monsanto has to be one of the more evil corporations out there. Z funny I have quantum activist on q on Netflicks, I'll try and see it this week.

I've seen terrorstorm, loose change and a few others you mention, all decent docs. Gets a bit depressing though lol, but sometimes reality is the biggest depressor.
