Where did you get that idea from?

ATS games are a completely different thing, and have their own forum. This forum is called US Sports.

To answer the OP - whilst the UFC is probably the ultimate in unarmed combat, it will never overtake mainstream sports, simply because some people don't like the level of violence.
I, personally, don't have a problem with it, and I have a very small understanding of the years of training it involves.

However, I think it is a sport for true fight fans, and is a little too violent to be considered a huge global sport in the same way that Football (euro) US football, baseball etc are.

Um-where I got that "idea" from was because when this was originally posted it was in the "ATS Sponsored Games" forum- obviously it has been moved by mods since then....
