Congressmen and Senators are ‘employed’ by the American people are they not? Have you seen their long form birth certificates?

Simple minds indeed...

There is no law or requirement for elected officials to disclose their birth certificates, long or short form, to the public. The question of eligibility and qualifications for office is an exclusive federal matter, to be judged by Congress. www.wnd.com...
It’s hilarious when birthers demand a standard for Obama that they didn’t apply to other candidates, and even their links show this bias.

McCain didn’t release his birth certificate, a person suing McCain did, when he annexed it to his legal brief.

Birth certificate: A purported copy of Sen. McCain's long-form birth certificate was released as a result of Hollander v. McCain, a lawsuit challenging the natural born citizenship status of the then–presidential candidate.

Apparently the birther standards for birth certificates don’t apply to McCain. Did anyone inspect it? Did anyone vouch for this alleged McCain long form birth certificate? Did the US authorities? The authorities in Panama?

The birthers are a joke...

But the joke is on me, because I’m arguing facts with people who actually entertain the idea that Obama was genetically engineered by aliens, and that “explains everything.”

The issue of the birth certificate is to make white racists feel better about having a black man in the most powerful seat in America by letting them imagine he is not legitimate.

It's that simple.

So if someone can't disprove a lie, it becomes truth?

What logically flawed world is that from?

Donald Rumsfeld's?

I am not a birther!

But to me, it looks like CNN gathered up some "sources" to testify that he was born there. The issue of Obama's birth certificate has been going on for a long time, and CNN is just now coming up with these people who say they saw him as a baby? Even one elderly woman claims she saw Obama in the nursery as a baby. You know, I can't hardly believe this. My sister has had 5 children, and she was telling me that she has no recollection of the babies next to hers. It seems very staged to me, that's all. It's not the first time a news outlet has lied. I do think Trump is starting to make himself look like an idiot.

Its 1961. A white woman with a mixed baby and black daddy. You tend to remember things like that.

I'm still not buying it. When I gave birth I had way too many things on my mind than to stand at the nursery window and see what color the babies where next to mine. I'd like to know how did this woman know for sure the black baby was Obama? It could have been any other black baby. Did she read all of the cards of the babies on their beds and remember it for life? The story sounds like a big fish story to me. As I said, I'm not a birther, not a tea party member, I'm a registered dem who voted for Obama. And the story still stinks to me.This will turn out to be one of those things we never know the truth about. I stopped believing everything I see on cnn after 9/11.

That's right, let's make this a racist issue to divert away from what's truth or fiction. Works every time.

And still we have that birther lie, will birthers ever stop telling it?

I love the term birther! It's just another Liberal red herring... one of many. Anytime someone sues over the birth certificate issue, he has to defend himself in court and that costs money. Instead of spending that money he could have just said "here's my birth certificate". Here is just a few of the cases that have brought his eligibility into question, and I can only imagine how much this has cost...

* New Jersey attorney Mario Apuzzo has filed a case on behalf of Charles Kerchner and others alleging Congress didn't properly ascertain that Obama is qualified to hold the office of president.

* Leo Donofrio of New Jersey filed a lawsuit claiming Obama's dual citizenship disqualified him from serving as president. His case was considered in conference by the U.S. Supreme Court but denied a full hearing.

* Cort Wrotnowski filed suit against Connecticut's secretary of state, making a similar argument to Donofrio. His case was considered in conference by the U.S. Supreme Court, but was denied a full hearing.

* Former presidential candidate Alan Keyes headlines a list of people filing a suit in California, in a case handled by the United States Justice Foundation, that asks the secretary of state to refuse to allow the state's 55 Electoral College votes to be cast in the 2008 presidential election until Obama verifies his eligibility to hold the office. The case is pending, and lawyers are seeking the public's support.

* Lt. Col. Donald Sullivan sought a temporary restraining order to stop the Electoral College vote in North Carolina until Barack Obama's eligibility could be confirmed, alleging doubt about Obama's citizenship. His case was denied.

* In Ohio, David M. Neal sued to force the secretary of state to request documents from the Federal Elections Commission, the Democratic National Committee, the Ohio Democratic Party and Obama to show the presidential candidate was born in Hawaii. The case was denied.

* In Washington state, Steven Marquis sued the secretary of state seeking a determination on Obama's citizenship. The case was denied.

* In Georgia, Rev. Tom Terry asked the state Supreme Court to authenticate Obama's birth certificate. His request for an injunction against Georgia's secretary of state was denied by Georgia Superior Court Judge Jerry W. Baxter.

* Philip J. Berg, a Pennsylvania Democrat, demanded that the courts verify Obama's original birth certificate and other documents proving his American citizenship. Berg's latest appeal, requesting an injunction to stop the Electoral College from selecting the 44th president, was denied.

* California attorney Orly Taitz has brought a case, Lightfoot vs. Bowen, on behalf of Gail Lightfoot, the vice presidential candidate on the ballot with Ron Paul, four electors and two registered voters. She also has been working on several other cases.

* Chicago attorney Andy Martin sought legal action requiring Hawaii Gov. Linda Lingle to release Obama's vital statistics record. The case was dismissed by Hawaii Circuit Court Judge Bert Ayabe.

* In Ohio, Gordon Stamper vs. U.S. later was dismissed.

* In Washington, L. Charles vs. Obama.

* In Hawaii, Keyes vs. Lingle, dismissed.

* In Texas, Darrel Hunter vs. Obama later was dismissed.

* In Texas, Brockhausen vs. Andrade.

You don't even submit that much stuff for a Top Secret clearance.

For my security clearance I gave fingerprints and I had to fill out a small booklets worth of info. I was given a paper version of the Personnel Security Questionaire as a "workbook" by the units security manager to help when I filled out all the info online at the e-QIP site. There is alot of background data asked going back ten years for Top Secret and seven for secret.

Military entrance processing covers some of that other stuff like physicals and dental.

If that is a regular security guard type job I would be wondering why they required release of medical records from childhood, copies of parents social secuirty cards, and history from birth. That last one was is crazy and almost makes me want to call BS. If its legit I would work for someone else.

edit on 27/4/11 by MikeboydUS because: missing words

He worked for a large port, he was in charge of security regarding ships coming in from other countries and securing buildings around it. You bet your behind they wanted that info. Not sure what company you work for but the one he was with required all of that info. He had to wait for all of the interviews to be completed with his references. They sent someone out to speak with his family in another state. Now, if you're going to work as mall security or someone who stands in front of walmart checking receipts, then no, I doubt they want that info.

I hate his white half too. Do you honestly believe that the President is the most powerful man in America? If so, then you clearly have no idea how things really work.

I'm just curious, but why is it when someone is half black (Obama, Tiger Woods) the other half is never brought up? Why are they always talked about as if they are 100% black? Oh, and don't bother calling me a racist because I asked a legitimate question... I voted for Allen Keyes and I am voting for Herman Cain in 2012, and they are both 150% black, so save your ignorance for someone else and actually answer a question.

You don't have to bother with this. That guy makes the claims, the burden of proof lies solely on him. Since he doesn't have any it's a non-issue

Exactly.

Oh hey.. the sky is blue...

WHAT!? CNN said this? It must be a lie.

No really.. look up..

Its all Obama lies... TO THE BUNKER!

Did you take CNN's word for it when they said Obama won the election? Or Fox.. or MSNBC.. or Were you the person who counted every ballot 1 by 1, and then swore Oboma in? Or any of the Japan Nuclear stuff? That was all over mainstream news. Just sayin.

I'm not saying that anyone should accept ANY info without evidence/sources. But everyone has to be open to any info, and make logical assumptions based on whats proven to be true/false, and possible conclusions.
edit on 27-4-2011 by Santh because: (no reason given)

I rarely believe anything that I hear on any news outlet, including Fox. I believe that elections are decided long in advance and that voting gives ignorant Americans the illusion that they have a say in their future. Obviously the Japan crisis was terrible, but the media here in America severely exaggerated the risk it posed to America. I worked around nuclear reactors for 13 years so that is not just an uninformed opinion. I make my assumptions based on the fact that CNN, MSNBC, ABC, CBS, NBC, HLN, CSPAN, and FOX are all bought and paid for... Especially MSNBC and CNN.

Looks like we'll have to wait for it.

There will be a statement by the POTUS at 0945, assuming its EST, so in about 33 minutes.
