The US would be slammed into an electronic Doomsday.

That gloomy report went under-reported and unheeded by the governments of the world. Now NASA is desperately trumpeting the danger and still most politicians turn deaf ears towards the warning and blind eyes towards the angry sun.

"Restoration of the infrastructure could take years—even a decade or more. During the interim more than a billion people could die worldwide—more if warfare breaks out between countries desperate for scarce resources.

Michio Kaku adds his voice to the warnings

World renown American astrophysicist Dr. Michio Kaku, Professor of Theoretical Physics in the City College of New York of City University of New York and the co-founder of string field theory, is worried about a potential catastrophe and has joined in NASA's warning."

I posted a link about this a while ago and most people are either oblivious, denying anything 2012, or 2012 weary....or just plain 'que sera'.

Politicians, individually are, it appears nothing more than particularly dubious versions of used car salesmen and couldn't give a flying monkey about anything unless it's in bondage or adding to their ego's or bank accounts.

Gov's are a collection of politicians...go figure.

Anyhoo.....the universal 'tumultuous'ness being experienced is something 'new' to the 'ipod world' of commercialism but if it ever happened before, humanity was probably similarly misguided.

There are many 2012 hypotheses and opinions....and recent reports are it is actually 2011 instead of 2012!

You'll never see this on CNN.

Don't worry, the solar flares are going to mutate our DNA and we will be awesome superhumans. Actually, I think I'll build my underground house this summer.

is a warning to upgrade the grids. Power will go
out if we get a giant solar storm with X flares..
On a personal basis I think we need to be ready
just as we would for any other impending disaster.

GOOD!!!!! let it come,i hope it does,after having my heart ripped from my chest and stomped on,after being in the middle of a s-h-i-t storm of human crap,after watching that dog video that was just posted i think it would be a blessing

and not a word from MSM beyond a "ha ha" isn't this funny. Well I guess I need to get my B.O.B. ready sooner than I thought.

That would be a trip if the sun activated some kind of dormant DnA in us and we would be superbeings..strength , intelligence, health, etc

These scenarios are all hypothetical.. We just don't know what is gonna happen.... If anything..

Is there anyone able to find the actual Nasa Report? Though I'm sure Dr. Michio Kaku wouldn't back this if it wasn't true.

I feel like drawing every penny out of the Bank and blowing the lot on a big time holiday. What the hell can you do?

Yet in the below video David Morisson from NASA says that there is no threat from a solar flare.

So who is making this up?

It seems to me that Michio Kaku is always talking about extreme possibilities, once again he says perhaps......This guy is losing more and more credibility in my opinion. Dr Doom.

To answer everyone's obvious question: there is no "NASA report" - this is just yet another sensationalist exploitation of a short and quite old TV interview with Dr. Michio Kaku's in which he warns about biggest yet solar storm that could kill some satellites and damage some expensive electric equipment on the open.

Uhm...if there is one thing we learned lately: Nuclear Power Plants - Power = Not Good Generators won´t help for long,since there are no Cars to refuel them...and no Control of the Plant because every Computer got fried...

And for People who come in and say "So what? It happened in the Past,and we are still here,nothing to worry about..." Did we have Microchips controlling everything the last Time?
