Feeling a little odd

Hello everyone.

I'm pretty new here. I started snooping around in February/March and now I think I'm addicted.

I have a few odd things that I am feeling lately, input would be awesome.

First off,
The past year, I have an insatiable hunger for knowledge. I would find myself at the library every other day, checking out books on Ancient Sumer or Physics, even medical books. I go to school for Psychology but for whatever reason, what I've been learning hasn't been enough. And this seems completely bizarre to everyone around me.

Also, the past few weeks, I have had this really eerie feeling that I'm being watched.

But most importantly, I have a strong feeling that I'm supposed to play an important role in something big, but I don't know what it is or why I feel this way. All I know is that I'm very aware of this.

Any ideas? Anyone feel the same?

First advice: Don't look for education in school.

Welcome. Hopefully you'll find interesting stuff here. Get your 200 posts in quick so you can come to chat.

And ask for whatever info you need.

Welcome! Many of us here feel the same way as you describe. I consider myself a lifetime scholar, and cannot learn enough!! I have never been able to accept the info I have been fed as the "truth", I have a need to find the answers for myself. That is what I love about ATS, we have the opportunity to sift through the information together to come to our own conclusions.

Exactly the same feeling!!

Let me ask you this, do you also see a defining gap occurring? By that I mean the Ascension Theory, which you will find the subject in plentiful supply throughout ATS. I recommend the search function to become more familiar with the topic. I am noticing a definitive line between people who may be actually ascending on some mental or spiritual level and those that are for whatever reason descending or remaining dormant and not ascending as it were. These people are standing out to me more and more as each day passes.

Now, the logical side of my brain has a few issues with the whole Ascension Theory in that this could just be associated to ...well... just growing up per se. However, in the past year, I have noticed an overwhelming desire to as well gain as much knowledge about subjects that I would otherwise and usually have no interest in that I am aware of. None the less, it is a very strong desire and I can't quite grasp just where the urge is stemming from, or why in such intensity all of a sudden.

As for the feeling of being around for something big, I have had THAT feeling since as long as I can remember. So much so that I have conveyed this to a select few people that wouldn't judge me for having this feeling. The way I have described it is that I feel this and have felt this down to my marrow since I can remember, effectively, the feeling is that prevalent.

I have seen other OP's post similar to yours, but yours is the first to pretty much hit the nail on the head as far as comparable feelings as of late. Thank you for posting it and whatever the force is driving all these feelings, I firmly believe it is closer now than it has ever been. I find myself saying "tick-tock" a lot to people lately.

I feel exactly the same way for the following reason.
About a year ago a Christian woman I work with was hospitalized for saying she saw and spoke to Jesus, I found it ironic because it was in a Catholic hospital.
When I went to visit her she seemed very calm and rational. As I spoke to her about what happened she told me something that freaked me out. She told me when she spoke to Jesus he had a message for me! It was that I was to keep reading about The Apocalypse, especially the part about the "reversal of money". It stunned me because I was reading about End Time prophecy and The Apocalypse a few weeks earlier. It was totally impossible she could've known this! I don't even remember why I was reading about it and I am not Christian.
Since then I have been reading many things pertaining to end times ant The Apocalypse.

I'm at work so I'm not able to really do much research right now, but I quickly glanced at a description of the theory. It's very interesting I'm going to look into it.

I find that many people in my life are just so concerned with the routine of life, and not so concerned with anything bigger. I have tried talking to the CLOSEST people in my life. They don't understand.

For me too. Every single day, no matter what else is going on in the world, I look around me and feel pure love and joy bubbling up inside me. It just comes all by itself! Simple things like clean windows or fresh laundry are like spring flowers to me. Sunshine or rain are divine gifts. It's crazy. Just a few years ago, in late 2006, I was literally struck down with a pretty severe depression. The medicines just made it worse (read: suicidal). Now nothing brings me down. Radiation in the air? It's cool. Someone stole my bicycle seat? Oh, okay. I guess they needed it more than I do. Things not working out? Okay, no problem. It will be fine anyway.

Yeah, I'm feeling a bit odd alright.

What you say parallels what is happening with myself and I will attempt to place some supporting elements to what is happening.

A few years ago a message came to me in a subtle manner, "believe in a little magic, things are not what they seem". Thus I went around opening my eyes and even telling folks this message. And then it started about 18 months ago, an insatiable drive to find out what is happening like yourself.

Then vibrations, OBE's, visions, telekinesis and synchronicity of dreams with my wife, much more.

It was so intense, the science part of me had to know and knew there were changes, thus my research and finally I found as many know here that, our solar system is changing frequency. The earth is changing as well, we are going into a cloud of plasma etc. etc. Go to sick scent blog, he pulls a lot together an saves some time researching.

You mentioned being watched. I was even told that in one of my experiences as I asked how do they know where I am. A voice in this strong dream that was more than a dream told me, "we watch you all the time". Damn, I wondered then, so they watch me do the dirty deed as well, LOL>

We are given hints, my wife and I. I have seen myself taken as has my wife and she even described in detail an alternate world of great beauty, one of another vibrational frequency due to the way it emitted colors. She even detailed the beings that were with us and she is not into this in any way. We both saw ourselves walking a world someday that is without all that we take for granted, like cars and electricity, a better world.

Hang in there, go with it, try telekinesis, anything, expand as well as you can as this seems to be what is needed and I will not define further than that. stay happy. I might add, I woke this morning with a strong dream of another world near our moon which circled the earth. It was wooded and beautiful, like an island world, hundred of thousands of islands in a mosaic or I assume water was between. Our moon was changed in some way as well.

As far as telekenesis, how would you suggest I get into that ? Research ? Meditation?
Who are these beings that told you that you are watched all of the time? Do you think they are from this alternate world/reality?

How is it possible that there are so many people getting tired of my wanting to know things.
People tell me I've become a quiet person, but thats not true. I want to discuss things but nobody is interested.

Hello, I feel the same all the time. I hate the feeling of being watched, but you can't help to not feel it sometimes.

I've been here for a while and just decided to join after reading the OP and relating to it. I've learned a lot about human nature and psychology over the last 6 months or so and the changes I've made in my own life have made me realize some simple truths. The most valuable thing on this planet is information and it has been very strictly controlled since the beginning. Every piece of information that's ever been presented to us in our lifetimes has served some purpose. There is nothing we can prove to be true by our own word alone. Nothing you see on television. Nothing you learn in school or church. Nothing you hear on the radio.

I can't even prove any of that, but I believe it to be true. Anyone who knows about psychology and human nature will understand how powerful beliefs are. By the time you reach a certain age you've established your core of beliefs in your unconscious mind and are governed by them. Almost like being on auto-pilot. Your actions and reactions can easily be determined and predicted by understanding what you believe and why. It wasn't until I started challenging my own beliefs, and replacing the false negatives that held me back with positives that worked for me, that I started to see a pattern.

We, as human beings, are easily programmable. Though most of us don't want to believe that. Therein lies a great irony. Any time our beliefs are challenged our unconscious mind tells us to look away and we quickly ignore or dismiss any information we don't want to accept. Though, with a certain knowledge and understanding, we can access that part of ourselves that doesn't want to be known and take control. That information should be known to all of us, there are some very basic concepts and techniques that we should all know, but it is very strictly controlled.

Your insatiable hunger for knowledge is the likely result of understanding psychology and human nature. Maybe you sense that there is something fundamentally wrong with this world. With our society. With the system that created us. Maybe you sense that the truth is out there somewhere in a book and you can find it if you look hard enough. Maybe you've already noticed a pattern. The rabbit hole I've heard it referred to. All paths converging. You are not alone. There is a great possibility that you are, indeed, being watched and are already playing an important role in something big.

I just recently watched the movie "The Secret" the message that the movie conveys along with the current feelings I am having, to me, go hand in hand. Because ultimately, this is where I feel my current view of everything is stemming.

I am, whether inadvertently or by some grand design, being attracted to this style of thinking on every level of my being, and my belief is so strong at this point that the message behind what this movie conveys is empowering me.

For the sake of mentioning, this movie is available in streaming format on Netflix, as well, Netflix gives the first month free and you can cancel with no fear of being charged anytime within that first month. As well I am sure this movie is downloadable in other places. It is also a book, available on numerous websites.

I feel exactly the same way. I want to talk about things that I'm interested in, but it seems like everyone is caught up in superficiality. It's frustrating, but it's definitely nice to have somewhere to vent.
