Hmmm, didn't know this thread was about whether one believes in God or not.

That is a purely personal choice and has nothing to do with the discussion of whether the supposed apparition in the Ivory Coast is a typical Marian phenomena or if it is related to project blue beam.

So, I say you Sir have failed, not the thread

This whole thing got me thinking about something.. This image seems to be slightly above the tree levels which means it wasnt that high up the sky. If anything it looks like if you would have walked maybe around 100 ft you would have actually came face to face with this so called apparition. Im almost hoping that if this happens again (which btw i heard the next one will be in Brazil) that someone actually runs toward it and see what happens. And hope someone does shoot you or something.

Its something that someone mentioned on Mitchell Coombes FB that supposedly he said. The next apparition would be in Brazil or Portugal. Not sure how he came to that conclusion. I guess we will have to wait and see.

I'm another who can't see the virgin on the vid (unless that gal over to the right is named Mary). But I remember a quote by author Robert Anton Wilson who, talking about the brain's ability to see patterns, said something like "If you can't see the Virgin Mary within 10 feet of you then you're not doing it right".

If the sacred whore ever shows herself to me, I will seduce her with Satanic Jazz music and have sex with her so that she would be forced to finally get rid of that arrogant "virgin" label. But then again the sacred whore probably took it up every other hole already, so that label was lost a long time ago. She may think otherwise but it is not so.

True, however, in this case it is not about seeing imaginary patterns, as the shape truly ARE there. You probably have either contrast-difficulties with the screen or did not wait until the 1:30-Mark.

What that shape are, however, is the question.

I am re-posting this one for those of you who have trouble believing the phenomena is real as it is lost in the pages of posts.

I have experienced Marian Phenomena personally - related to Medjugorje and I was in a crowd of at least 2000 people who also experienced it. So in my book, the visions are real, but are they really Mary, or is it project blue beam?

There seems to be absolutely no supporting evidence for blue beam so far beyond some info on the net describing the idea behind it.

New Zealand (1993)
In early March, during an open air meeting at the Medjugorje Peace Centre in Auckland, New Zealand, at which a representative from Medjugorje was one of the speakers, a band of colours appeared in the sky, though not in rainbow formation. Later, outside the nearby Cathedral, members of the congregation noticed that the sun appeared to be changing colour, to be spinning and "jumping". These phenomena were also accompanied by a vision of the Virgin Mary in the sky.

I was both at Marcellin college at the outdoor presentation and saw the band of colours - this article is the first time in my life I have had confirmation that other people saw it (puts shivers right down my spine....)

I also had what is best described as an 'outer body experience' at the cathedral in Hobson St at the 6 pm mass. I don't feel comfortable disclosing all of the details on such a public site due to the risk of public ridicule, but what I can say is that I was lifted out of my body and I could actually look down on myself. I can still remember like it was yesterday being hugged and feeling what I can only describe as pure love. That plus the fact that we can even see a halo around her head, her right foot is slightly higher than her left foot as if hovering or flying, and her right leg seems to be bent slightly at the knee.

Let's see, how many women are known for having a halo, having a cape, wearing white and blue/purple, plus is able to hover or fly? Not even wonder woman

No one seems to have considered the issue of size. The female figure in the sky implied by its distance and height above ground is too large to be human. Therefore, the image is not that of a human who was floating in the sky but, instead, some kind of larger-than-life projection. This aspect is highly significant, because it cannot therefore be simply an apparition/ghost, which would be 5-6ft tall. What we have here is, essentially, a large, three-dimensional hologram. The REAL question is: who is creating it?

Yes, you are indeed correct, there have been many many mass sightings of Mary, and as I have mentioned - I have been at one of them myself. Mary appearing is not the only phenomena that happens and she is not the only person who appears - sometimes angels will too.

I think I am going to open another thread to expand on this one and look at it in the wider context of Marian apparitions, as there is too much evidence out there to dismiss these as pure codswallop - even despite my obvious bias having witnessed myself. I will be listing all of the valid apparitions since Lourdes in France and I will also provide a list of Marian phenomena that have been discredited by the church. Yes, there have naturally been fakies as you would expect...

Good idea, sounds like it could be eye-opening for many. Just be prepared on recieving loads of posts claiming that any UFO-like activity together with religious apparitions and events are "Demonic" and caused by "Fallen Angels", and that you must not be decieved.

I have yet to understand the minds of the group of Christians that believes these things, and even harder to grip are when they state the same things about anything unknown that flies around in some type of vehicle- That it is demonic and "Fallen". The reason this is such a paradox, is because God Himself was constantly described as flying around in various types of vehicles throughout the whole Bible. Yet each and every one of those making the beforementioned claims seems to have "missed" this. Or maybe they are just denying it as it causes indeniable problems for their stated opinions in the matter.

In any case, in my opinion there is absolutely nothing "Un-Christian" about UFO's, as both God and Jesus used them themselves.

Anyway, just some thoughts.

To understand it you must first accept the premise that there is spiritual warfare and deception. Without accepting that none of it will make sense. And those without experiences of spirit usually cannot accept the premise that there are spiritual forces trying to suppress belief in the gospel.
