Has anyone seen this yet? Follow links. The second link can be found through the first link.

Last night, I had my first direct experience with the so-called free speech zone. It left me with one conclusion: whatever you do, do NOT go inside. Its not only a blatant offense to free speech, but also highly dangerous and unsafe. I would suggest protesting anywhere in Boston but inside of it.

Welcome to the cage of the free and the home of the sleeping sheeple.

I have had a phrase said to me twice this week by friends, "I would rather remain ignorant than really see what is going on around me." That statement right there made me reliese why this country is going the way it is and any politician can do whatever they please.

I hate to see what the repubs do to New York City. Anyone there in ny that can keep us informed, especially if they have a digital camera, take some pictures and post them.

I just ran across this article last night, from another avenue....
have you ran across any other stories about this?

I can understand why our media isn't running it here in the US....still say there's a little bit of censorship going on...this one is from austalia...but, there should have been other reporters from outside the US, did any of them report it also?

Here are some article I could find.

www.wired.com...
This article covers the topic, not the convention
another site that talks about it

Also you can check on Alex Jones, he did a peice on this. I can not find the article but if you have a little more time than me you might have better luck. Hope this helps. Once you know enough about this, spread the word. Let people know that thier 1st amendment rights are going to the dogs.

Hmmm. . .

When Cheney was here in Portland Ore, the free speech zone was a dusty field some three hundred yards away and fenced off. Most people were so disgusted they left, by the end there were only a handful of people left in the zone. If you tried to go beyond the zone, you were tackled by a dozen police and arrested. So this doesn't suprise me at all, but it does sicken me.

Just so you dont get bogged down that noone is responding, this has already been reported on ATS. You can find it in the search engine under Free Speach Zone or something to that effect.

And, yes...it is an abomination. So was the G8 summit when the governor of Georgia declared a pre-emptive national emergency so noone could protest there. Man, you should of seen the security, they were just waiting for someone to protest on that island so they could pounce on them.
