How do they know what 'alien' genes look like?

second.

The website will not open up for me. I have found a few different site talking about this but they all link to the same site that isn't working.

Goodness gracious, there's nothing here suggesting it's alien genes, they're just trying this as an excuse to foist off why they can't explain its origin - what evolutionists previously claimed was vestigial remnants of our evolution, then just tried to label as 'junk' DNA.

If they would shut up and just keep researching it, they'll find that it does all actually serve a purpose as well, and might even eventually find an evolutionary pathway for it, but claiming it's alien deserves every bit as much scorn as evolutionists would give creationists for saying God made it.

Crap! Does this mean David Icke is right?
Wait, yeah, how do they know? Do they have something to compare it to?
Is this proof that aliens do exist?
Wait, we would be the aliens!

I am so confused!

If I may suggest. You might want to put a small piece of the aritcle up and some of your thoughts/comments.

Anyway, after reading the Original news story, linked in the aticle you posted: www.agoracosmopolitan.com...

I have to say, very interesting. However, I see it being beaten down fast as it goes into the Alien connection way to much for the any novice. At that point, they will think the story is B.S or not true etc.

I would say that I don't doubt it. I wonder what would happen if they could determine Exactly who had aliens genes in them and to what extent. Make those people very interesting to study and see what we can develope via reverse genetic engineering etc.

Good luck with this thread. I think you may need it. Pretty rough crowd in this topic field.

DNA is actually the genetic codes of alien lifeforms...

How the hell do they know the codes of alien lifeforms ??

Here is the original source of the article

A group of researchers working at the Human Genome Project indicate that they made an astonishing scientific discovery: They believe so-called 97% non-coding sequences in human DNA is no less than genetic code of extraterrestrial life forms.

Might want to read the article first next time...

The team has hypothesized that “A higher extraterrestrial life form was engaged in creating new life and planting it on various planets, including Earth”. For those familiar with the Ancient Astronaut theory, this will sound very familiar as this is one of the most prevalent statements they claim.

Yeah, they're saying THOSE aliens.

Edit - and has also been previously discussed on ATS, and found to be a HOAX.

It seems this story has done the rounds a few years ago. No-one seems to have heard of the Prof. who's quoted and the story has been regarded as a hoax here on ATS.

www.abovetopsecret.com...

In this article by Linda Moulton Howe, she asks a respected genetic scientist if he has ever heard of Prof. Sam Chang... the answer was no.

In order to prove that the majority of junk DNA is Alien. They would first have to ahve alien DNA to cross reference it too.

To say that we have more of this junk DNA than other specieces isnt enough. WTF.

I've been having a look on google and I can't find any reputable sources to confirm this, it seems like its just talk

Cool I thought this was a very interesting read ..Here's the story for those can't access the website, I'm going to do a little more research and see where and by whom the story originates coco

A group of researchers working at the Human Genome Project are claiming that they have found alien genes in our human DNA genetic makeup. Do we have alien genes in our human DNA? Could this be the ultimate proof of alien life? According to a team of researchers working at the Human Genome Project, this appears to be the case. The team believes that more than 95% of the non-coding sequences (also called junk DNA) found in human DNA is actually the genetic codes of alien lifeforms. These sequences are actually found in all lifeforms found on Earth but they make up a larger portion of the human genome than in any other species known. It is these sequences that the team is using to explain many gaps in our understanding of how human beings have “evolved” over the ages.

Even though the theory of evolution has gone a long way in explaining how one species can lead to another one over long periods of time, it has come up short on how the human race has developed into the species we are today. There are many issues with the theory with regards to the human species including how our brain size nearly tripled in a short period of time, how we almost overnight developed “civilization” and perhaps most intriguing is the so called missing link having been never found. With the introduction of alien genes, the researchers claim that all of these mysteries can be easily explained. It is their hypothesis that alien genetic material was inserted several times in the past leading to these developments.

The team has hypothesized that “A higher extraterrestrial life form was engaged in creating new life and planting it on various planets, including Earth”. For those familiar with the Ancient Astronaut theory, this will sound very familiar as this is one of the most prevalent statements they claim. So, do we have alien genes in each one of us? I think the answer is yes no matter how you look at the question. Just remember that scientists are certain that the building blocks of life or even life itself came from outer space so that would make us all aliens to this planet.

Yes, according to Google, this is from 2007. Even has an ATS link as one of the hits.

mostly saying hoax HOWEVER. Prof Sam Chang does exist.

I found this post from then that someone did find him list at the Project:
LinK: www.wiley.com...
(he is in the 2nd group of people):
Human X chromosome inactivation - Samuel C. Chang

Like I said. too much reference to the Alien thing. People will discount the whole story. So, is this true? I don't know. Maybe the OP can reach out to Prof. Chang?

to those that argue as to the reason for this post..

ok.. so can you come up with another reason why we have so much useless D.N.A?
or why we use only half (or less) of our brain?
or why we have 95% of our D.N.A in common with minkeys when we're supposedly descended from them?
