Is Lucifer Actually God?

All I know is that the jews, the moslems and the christians don't say that demons are evil, but more along the lines of powerful superior beings.

The ancient greek meaning of demon was actually a word for " spirit " or " divine power ", much like the Latin word genius.

Lucifer means the Light bringer. It's a good job I do not believe in this type of thing because"Light bringer" is a good thing to me

Well, lets look at it this way:

One the one hand you have God who COMMANDS you to live a life of seritude and obediance to him. A life in which you are required to give up your Earthly values and possesions. You are essentially forced to love him for fear of eternal damnation in Hell. And to top it all off, your "supposed" reward is an eternal life in heaven with him where you spend every moment in constant praise.

On the other hand, you have "Lucifer" (Satan, Yaldaboth, Baal, etc) who does not command you, does not require of you, does not force you to do anything. He simply wants you to live your life to the fullest and enjoy all that the world and humanity has to offer.

Why did the serpent temp Eve, because he knew the evil that is "god". Think about it, the tree itself was called "The Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil". If you don't know the differance, then you can't choose the good when you're ruled by the evil (or vice versa). Or think of it this way, how many people have been killed in the name of "god" either by him directly or by his influance on man. Who incites humanity to killing more than any other entity?

Some say it belongs to a priest who was on the outs with the vatican named Lucifer, I highly doubt it, if that was the case he certainly would not have a tomb under St Peters.

Concidering the age and location of this Tomb U, I highly doubt that it was of a rebelious priest. It's located about three tombs away from that of St. Peter himself, in a Vatican necropolis dating back to the 1st and 2nd century. Many of the tombs in this area are concidered to be of pegan origins.

Allah asked iblees why he didn't obey his order, iblees replied that he is better than Adam, that god created him (iblees) from fire and adam from dirt / mud .

Allah setnenced iblees for hellfire, iblees asked allah to grant him immortality until judgement day, Allah granted him that . Iblees promised Allah that he will drag them away from him and turn them to disblievers all except those who truly worship Allah .

In islam there are two beings that we don't see or sense .

Jinn :

Allah created them from fire, these dwell the earth with us and they are subject to judgement day, they have free will and intellect, we can't see them, its believed they live in another dimension / the seas . Only one human being had true command over them and he was Profit Soliman.
Some Jinn follow Iblis and are servents to his well in turning Adams successors away from Allah and turn them into disbelievers ( in the form of, spirit worshipers, sun worshipers, statue worshipers, atheist, luceferians) .
Humans can communicate with Jinn, sorcerrers , magicians do communicate with them and use them.
Jinn can only whisper to human beings, nothing more . Allah knows best.
There is not much information about them since its prohibited to communicate or use jinns.
Jinn can take animal forms (confirmed by sunnah), being able to take human form is not confirmed and Allah knows best. Some jinns are divers, some of them fly and some of them walk on the earth .

Angels :

Allah created them from light, they are excuters of allah orders and Allah used them to convey prophecy messages to prophets . Every human being has two angels with him, on each shoulder, one that writes your good deeds (right shoulder) and the other writes your sins .

The information I provided you here are what I learned through the years of being muslim and being taught and read some of this in the Quran and in books that I can't find on the net.

quite possibly. he is a Alien that has a different life expectancy one measured in milleniums instead of years.
the rise of Lucifer was accompanied by the rise of the Church or the expansion of churches and a reduction in participants. the math does not add up. I've have been under the impression that big expensive churches where Satan. only because I can not find a single Luciferian church the churches arch enemy. so there fore it is either an illusion or it is 180 degrees off. like everything else.

I think what the OP is trying to say is, How can we be sure that god is god, and the devil is the devil? Because some book tells us so. Seriously? These books are by definition propaganda. After all, they were written by man, supposedly under the influance of "god". And only in these books do you see the condemnation of the other side. So, this leads me to question what the devils side of the story is. How come he has never come out and stated his case. Maybe it's because he doesn't need to. Hmmmmm.

'Lucifer', 'God' are only labels, which have been used by TPTB to confuse and control people.

It doesn't matter what the name or label is. Love is love whatever name you ascribe to it, and hatred and harm to others are hatred and harm to others, no matter what name they carry.

The names are not important. It's what we do, and what's in our heart that counts.

If you look in Greek mythology Hades is the brother of Zeus. It could could mean the same as God And Lucifer,just a thought.

If you are willing to accept my contention that we are dealing with allegory, then the answer is very simple. God represents hidden knowledge and Lucifer represents revealed knowledge, so in a sense they are the same, but God is wearing a "mask" which makes him "good".

You can see an illustration of this when Jesus told the "Satan" Peter to get "behind" him. (Matt.16:23) Peter, the "rock", represents the history that was covered by metaphors to create the Gospel allegories. The name "Simon" refers to the "oil" (Hebrew: shemen) used for the "annointing" which of course is related to the name "Christ". "Shemen" is then associated with the Hebrew word "shem" which means "name" which is basically what a metaphor is.

Each real world idea has multiple metaphors used to describe it and this creates much of the impression that allegory can mean whatever the person interpreting it wants it to mean. We are also led to believe that ideas such as "good" and "evil","peace" and "war", "truth" and "lies",and "hate" and "love" are not metaphors, when they actually are.

Thanks for the Alice Bailey Link, I have Bailey's Esoteric Astrology somewhere but because the exoteric is enough to digest I have not got to the esoteric yet. Your quote from Bailey "Mercury and the Sun are one" reminds me that their relationship is unique, Mercury can never go further away than 18' from the sun, so is unable to form any aspect to it other than a conjunction. Also its what the two planets symbolically represent, the Sun represents a person's intrinsic character, their will, but that is useless without Mercury's symbolic contribution of the mind and intellect .

I am quite cross with myself because Lucifer's role as the devil or fallen angel I never bought, but light bearer, was a better role.

Then tonight suddenly the 'proverbial' penny dropped. How can the Devil or a fallen angel have a Roman name? Lucifer and all related to him is an interpolation pushing the Christian version of the bible. On checking the Hebrew Bible, the story as another poster rightly said, comes from Isiah 14 V12 and does not relate to fallen angels etc it talks about a Babylonian King named Helal son of Shahar . oooooooooooohhhhhhhh!

According to the Sumerian history, the Original Source for the Hebrew's first few books of the Torah and so also the highly edited modern version of Genesis in youre bibles, the 'God' who created/manufactured Human beings was forcibly portrayed as the Evil one in the Garden of Eden fable.

His name was Enki (NK), the 'Garden' was the E.Din (the First Place/Time) and it was his older brother Enlil (NL) who Hated humans, who wanted them all dead, who was Egotistical, Bloodthirsty, sought Revenge and Worship.

Enki broke an Oath to The Elohim (Council of 12... 'Gods') so his older brother hauled him before the Council to be stripped of his Heirship of Anu, and, his Governance of the Earth.. which is what Enlil wanted all along since he was a son of a Concubine and thus not a real Heir to his Father's Kingdom.. while Enki (the younger son) was born to Anu's wife and thus was legitimate Heir.

Enlil took one half of the Caduceus symbol on the House of Life in Africa... the DNA laboratory where the Homo Sapien Sapien model known as The Adamma was manufactured... and used the single symbol to Identify Enki as the Evil Son.. the bad one for oath breaking.

If you know the Caduceus you will remember seeing it representing the Medical establishment throughout history. It consists of two intertwined Snakes around a Staff or Branch.. so one half of that symbol is a Snake on a Branch.

Enlil worked hard to force humans to remember his younger brother as the Bad One..and equally as hard to convince humans that he himself was the Prime God. It worked really well.

From then on humans did remember Enki as the Snake in the E.Din. Enki even told the humans that God was lying to them... and Enil, The God was lying to them to make sure they all forgot the one God who created and Loved them.

So yes, in a very simplified way we could say God is "Lucifer/Satan/The Devil".. that's the God of Genesis is portrayed as that.

The worst thing about it all is that Followers of Belief and Faith will not accept the True history of their God. They will not accept that their God of Genesis is a hateful, manipulative, egotistical Alien Visitor to Earth.... which is exactly how it is portrayed in the most ancient of histories... in the Origins of Genesis.

and I will reveal a secret, to the mind a logic, to the spirit nourishment: Those who bring light to those in the dark do nothing more than blind those who reside there. This is a grand principal. People must seek the light upon themselves, it may only come gradually, the same as natural light, the third eye must adjust, and the same function as the eyelids, one must break contact with the light and come back to it "close the eyelids", or the floods may overwhelm as Tigris and Euphrates symbolically.

Gnostically speaking, the answer to your question is that our creator; that is the one commonly thought of in the KJV of the Bible is Lucifer, and indeed if you follow gnostic scripture and other older and "heretic" texts/scriptures you'll find that they believed that we were created by an "ignorant" god one who did not know where he came from hence he thought he was the only one God, where the creator of the ignorant God hast not claimed he is the only God, although due to the deficiency of the ignorant God, we have had to live out imprisonment in the flesh while this ignorant God learns through us, since he has set his ignorance/confusion upon us who you could claim "is" us, although it is not us because we are superior "technically" superior to the ignorant God, and it is through this "sacrifice" of our imprisonment and our freedom to live in "his" ignorance that will liberate him, once he has learned his own deficiency, through us. We are what we seek, look within.

and while on the other hand, it has been archeologically found that Jesus, the actual figure was indeed inline to be Pharaoh and much like Buddha he renounced his position and found his place among the people, teaching and liberating while those of his family/lineage did not like and felt threatened by his "path" and attempted to murder him and when that failed they perverted his teachings and obscured his real life with myth and legend, dogma and miracles, instead of his truly liberating teachings which to this day are held in secrecy, only are the outside teachings available. The plain word, non parabolic explanations are hidden and only shown to a VERY few elect..

Before you claim I'm vividly imagining things and making things up, please take the time to think of the question. Reality is a tablecloth; there is a structure that underlies that is unmoving at the same time the objects we place upon it, we move at will.

It is truly ignorant to believe that this deception would wait until the very end, that is if this is the very end.
Aside from that, it is also truly arrogant to believe the deception would be played out during your time.

These deceptions have been playing out forever, it does not happen at any one time, it happens all the time and yet it doesn't happen at all.

It takes a bit of learning to understand the meanings but the beauty of it all is, it only takes thought, you were given the tools to build great cathedrals of the mind.
