Haha if this is true then there will be a lot of disappointed movie goers and this film won't do very well. It'll be the last time JJ Abrams tries to conceal the true story of his movies.

It makes sense, the moment I read no monsters or aliens I just thought it has to be a super human then.

Well 8 of them, could still be very interesting, but now just seems like it will clash with "I am number 4". Not seen that either so maybe not.

JJ Abrams has my trust.

Loved Cloverfield even though I thought it was ludicrous how insane they went with the viral marketing to make everyone think that the movie was going to be so much deeper than it was, the myspace pages and vlogs the characters had, the slusho website etc.

Lost left me feeling totally cheated. After season three it changed into an entirely different show and no matter how much they say its not the case I truly believe that they just slapped together and ending and perhaps the most awful ending since St. Elsewhere .

With that said I like the 8 super humans angle and will e seeing this if that is the case.

What WOULD have been a desired ending for LOST, really? I mean, when you think about it, no matter what they did, they were going to tick off some, satisfy others, or just be lame. Still, though the ending was lacking, I still enjoyed the ride. I'm a bit mixed on Cloverfield, it was ok, but not a movie I'd probably sit through again.

My bet is that this is actually Abrams' own disinfo campaign kicking off...he's kind of done this before....(false leaks, etc.)

Yeah you're right about the lost thing. Quite a few people have asked me that same question and I can not answer it. I just I felt so cheated not even that but It just didn't even make sense to me. Still the first three seasons of that show were great. Cloverfield = awesome. He went all out to make people think that movie was going to be some epic piece and it wasn't but I still dug it.
