Just checked the EarthQuake info site and I came across a lot of Quakes ... Normally you tend to see loads around California/Nevada and Japan but there have been quite a few across other Countries ... Including one NE of New Zealand yesterday at a 6.6 Magnitude ...

I have been monitoring the USGS worldwide seven day list ( earthquake.usgs.gov... ) for a couple of years now and the number of quakes in diverse locations has dramatically increased in the last couple of months. Not only that but the severity has climbed steadily even without figuring in the recent Japan activity. Add in the Japan quakes and aftershocks and it gets really scary.
