well? what is it, are there certain signs you're looking for?
for some here it could be, 'the return of jesus'. no disrespect meant, just stating a fact that i've read multiple times.
for me, one sign i look for is, the returning of a high percentage of overseas troops.
many could see that as great news, but depending on the situation, i think it could be horrible.
i personally do not believe tptb have the manpower to initiate martial law on a large scale.
troops and contractors along with all law enforcement would then make it possible.
what crosses you mind when this question is asked.
utilities cut off, grocery store closures?

When I turn on the facet and no water comes out...

Although you could say the S is in the process of H-ing the F right now, that'll just be the end result and when I personally cannot escape the harsh reality anymore

That or $6 a gallon for gas...

Ive had one experience in my life that is close to what your thinking of, on a local scale (statewide), trust me when it happens there wont be any doubt in your mind

Too many taxes.

When you choose to spend what little you have on the bare essentials and THEY come to take your home because you can't pay THEIR tax rates.... that's a daily mini SHTF for 1 family at a time.

i could understand that one for many.
i'm off the grid, so wouldn't effect me as soon as most.
unless they do figure out how to block the sun.
then i would run out of power.

I wake up to the sounds of screaming and breaking glass. I turn on the TV to check the news... all the channels are blank. I check the internet... it's down. I go into the bathroom for my morning deuce, the fan doesn't work. I say to myself, "Thank goodness, today the sh!t won't hit the fan."

It happened on august 29, 2005, im sure youve heard about it. The days that ensued were as close to a shthf situation that Ive been through. Wild west kinda stuff for a minute there

I don't think you give our troops enough credit. The vast majority of them would not follow orders to turn on American citizens, and those that do would meet a sad and traitorous fate. Besides, they would be seriously outnumbered and out gunned.

Anything that changes the way of life my family lives now.

It could be anything from me & the wife losing our income to an asteroid hitting the planet.

Tornadoes, floods, economic collapse, foreign object hitting the planet, earthquakes, volcanoes,
alien invasion (not the kind Arizona is experiencing), nuke plant failure or any of a hundred other scenario's.

I think my SHTF scenario is more like-- we go into a deep economic crisis, money has lost it's value, people are without jobs, supermarkets are empty of food and there are roming bands of thugs who will kill you and "TRY" to take what you have.

Cool man I was there too, I'm from St. Bernard. I thought it was the end of the world, but here I am.

My personal definition of TSHTF is when I can't go to the music store and buy guitar strings.

you do have a point, i wish i could say the same with such positivity.
once begun, any dissenters may be imprisoned or shot.
it's a common way to control armies and convince them to obey orders.

Whenever our rulers cannot effectively extend their "protection" over us, and maintain their monopoly on the legitimate use of force, then the S has hit the F.

Hurricanes, earthquakes, fukushima syndrome, etc. can cause it. So can wars, financial panics, etc.

it can last for a few weeks, or for the Dark Ages.

For me its anything similar or same scale as Haiti, Japan, Christchurch, Hurricane Katrina, Australia floods, and such. But happening in my local area.

Umm add to that Libya and such wars.

Im not gonna be worried, well freaking out anyway, untill I see two suns in the sky than im deffinately deffinately finding a good ol cave to hide in until the meteor shower is over. BUT if it stays daytime, (nighttime depending on location) for and abnormal amount of time like 3 days thannnnnnn I know the worst possible scenario has just taken place and than i know SHTF on a cataclysmic scale. What would I do?? Well If i saw two suns than im grabbing all my supplies saved up, loading them in the truck and driving 1000 miles toward the spot Iv picked up that i hope and pray is safe..While there, if the sun stays up or down for more than a day than I know at that point that the ENTIRE PLANET is never gonna be the same.Actually now that i think about it....the meteor shower would come after the the 3 days of day or night(depending on location). So I guess when the sun doesnt rise or doesnt set at that point im gone. and I hope and pray to see many people after the SHTF to help in the resistance againts the Illuminati, NWO.

Anyway if something big does go down than god speed to all...
