That is a huge wolf, wow. Thanks for that ziggyproductions. No disrespect but I'm looking at this trail cam pic but I'm just not seeing anything that's wolf characterist. I do understand what you're talking about the patches of hair sometimes missing. I've seen some wolfs and coyotes, or coy-dogs if that's that appropriate term that had patches of fur and bare skin showing. I've seen bears like that too.

I'm not completely throwing the wolf idea out, and again thanks for that picture, i would not want that animal chasing me.

Do you see anything in the trail cam pic that does look wolf like, that maybe I'm not seeing. I'm trying to imagine what position it would have to be in to get that look.

That's a huge freakin wolf Ziggy!

However, I think this picture is of some sort of bi-pedal animal (whether it's a guy in a gorilla suit or a genuine Bigfoot) crouching down to pick something up. Not to mention the fact that there are no wolves currently anywhere in the Northeast (according to the DEC and my own research). I know that the DEC were thinking about reintroducing them to the Adirondack area to hopefully "quell" the coyote population (and that was a huge topic of discussion at the local townhall meetings I used to go to in the small town that I lived in), but I don't think they ever went through with it.

As far as coyotes go, I've been on several coyote drives in the Adirondack/Western Vermont region, and they barely get bigger than a small Black Labrador. Whatever was caught in this photo is much bigger than a coyote.

Peace be with you.

Unfortunately, I don't know exactly where this was taken. I spent some time trying to find an answer but everything I saw just referred back to the report I referenced.

So i guess until we get more info on this, It's either a very large stupid hunter who ties his shoes with a gun dangerously close to the crotch region, or a sasquatch.

I guess it is possible that it wasn't a hunter but someone pulling a prank. That might not be a gun. It could be well known that the guy had the camera and wondered out loud about his apples...

I agree, though, after looking at the pictures of the researcher on the ground vs. The unkown figure that the unknown figure does look much bigger.

Oh I did and still considered that someone could be pulling a prank. It is right by the road so someone could've spotted the cam.

c'mon folks, this is a hoax.
and here I thought ATS'ers
were brighter than this, lol.
does this make 3 cam trail
hoax vids in the last 6 months?
It promotes tourism to the area
looking for the beast which they
never find but keep coming back
to spend their money.

some folks are just too gullible, lol
It also keeps the legend of bigfoot
afloat one more year.

Could you add a little more insight as to how they perpetrated the hoax and a little less time belitting your fellow ATS members?

I was wondering what that was as well!
It kind of looks like a tail of some sort like a cat tail.

I don't think anyone has really gone one way or another when it comes to the photo.

What should people do, ignore it?

Ignoring the lies is just as dangerous as ignoring the truth if not more, you can't have one without the other and you don't know one without knowing the other.

Your close im guessing its a cayote jumping past the camera. the image is motion blured so its moving fastnotice the tree in the background shows up rather well. It was moving too fast for the camera explains also the single image. If you look the tail is facing the camera its jumping away from the camera probably exiting woods. The hand people see is the back paw this thing was caught in mid air.

Heres a picture just imagine you were standing directly behind him you would see how well it would match up.

PS keep in mind this picture is real close to the object maybe 3 to 4 feet at most and looning down at the trail as it zooms by. And when you mount a trail cam there usually 4 to 5ft off the ground this thing is obviously smaller then that.

One of my thoughts when I first saw the picture was maybe the opening shot of coyote porn.
I thought maybe it was two coyotes. The first one with it's rump and tail facing the camera (with mange) and a second one standing with it's side facing but angled slightly away from the camera and the head whipped off to the side, away from the camera, like it might be snapping at the one who was jumping it.

Two coyotes would account more for the size and the fur seems like it could be consistent with a coyote.

I couldn't account for the "hand" though.

The problem is, boondock, is the fact that you have presented absolutely NO evidence to support your claims whatsoever. If you want to debunk something, find an actual article with the proven claims that this is indeed a hoax, and I will shut up about the whole thing.

We are taking a look at what this picture could possibly be. Given the previous reports of Bigfoot activity in the Adirondack Region of New York State, and realizing that Vermont shares the same woodland type areas, is it so far of a stretch to analyze the photo in an intelligent, non-assuming manner? Yes, I have analyzed the photo in the way that my eye is seeing it. I've showed the picture to several friends and family members right now, with no prior knowledge on what it could possibly be, and almost all of them said that it looks like a crouching Bigfoot, or a man in a very expensive gorilla suit. My father, an experienced hunter and outdoor enthusiast said the same thing.

This photo could very well be a hoax, but it very well might not be. Present some real concrete evidence that it is a hoax, if you believe that it is, and start denying ignorance.

Peace be with you.

Boondock -

I place believability of bigfoot right up there with that of GOD. Pics or it didnt happen... so far I see a possible pic of a big foot Oo.

Ive seen scarier game cam pics. Here you go heres some.

Even though these can be done on photo shop there really is no way to prove it beyond all doubt. So your statement really doesnt make sense expecially with the photo you show we cant even agree what it is much less prove what it is.

Right, but when someone blatantly disrespects members just to scream "HOAX!" I have a problem with it.

The problem is that nobody knows what this is. I have presented my side of the argument with my personal analysis of the photo, negating the photoshop debunker crowd, ruling out indigenous wildlife, etc., as well as relating it to other sightings in the general area. That is more than some debunkers will do. It's easier to scream HOAX! than to give it some real analytical thought. Given that thought, I don't see how my argument "doesn't make sense." I'm presenting one side of the coin.

Peace be with you.

Sometimes when an image isn't clear you can manipulate the colors and get a more articulated view.
