OP should learn that even if it is an ultimately negative topic, there is always a method to present it in a positive way.
Then if you get hothead opposition, you do not have to defend yourself.

I think this is important no matter what would happen because we are humans no matter how hard life would be. In the hour of death religion would be probably the only thing I would be considering as thing witch is worthy in this world.

I'm no better than anyone.
And if I go to my death? Deep down, I'm alright with it... And I'm honored to have spent every moment in existence here.

Interesting thread.

Im new here to ATS so this is the first doom and gloom prediction I have read but I get the impression from the other posts that they come up fairly frequently, from what I can tell none so far have come true

What could be a good idea is perhaps making a seperate forum for posts like these once their self imposed deadline of doom has expired. We could call it the hall of shame or something equally unappealing.

This would serve several purposes
1) It would make people think twice about posting junk as afterwards the prediction would be easily accessed and seen.
2) people who may be sincerely concerned (although I dont see why they would be) could see that these things have been said for years with nothing coming from it.
3) it would be a good laugh to go back to it every now and then and crack urself u at how silly some people can be.

Im not in any way putting down or even saying the OP is wrong just that if he or anyone else who makes these sorts of predictions, when they are found to be wrong there should be somewhere where we can all go to point and laugh at them

P.s I only responded to this posts as you had some good points about how were all the same, shame it was accompnied by unnecessary fear mongering. For that only we should point and laugh when ur found to be wrong.

You See, if this was a prediction from that ATS member that actually predicted the Japan Earthquake almost a month before it happened, i would be scared but it's not so im not bothered about it, unless of course you can back your prediction up with hard evidence and then interlink that with current events in your prediction so that we know something significant would or might happen. i love how many people claim to have predictions, that they believe WILL happen, Hell i'll stick with nostradamus, after all he's been right about most of his predictions so far.

based on the OP's statement I hope he goes first and with enough public agony to deter anyone left from making the same kind of hopeless statements of fact in the future.

People are complaining that the OP is fear-mongering...really, people? When was the last time you were actually afraid of anything you have seen on ATS? For me it was a few weeks before never. This is entertainment pure and simple and actually makes you think once in a while. I for one love it.

Judging by the OP, im going to take a stab in the dark and say English isnt your first language... I understand you were trying to get a debate going about human values and how we act around/discriminate against each other and some people seem to have just looked straight past the opportunity for such a debate and have jumped on the "LOL HOAX" bandwagon when the prediction clearly isnt the key part of the OP and i believe what you intended to do was set the scene or scenario.

I will answer most of your questions in one answer.
No, I do not believe any of these differences will matter when death is knocking. When the time comes all differences will be set aside, everyone will realize/recognize that we are all ONE. The human race, in my eyes, is just one big sensory organ here to experience and percieve the universe in as many ways as possible. I think that is our purpose too...We are simply here to BE. To experience. This includes seeing things, feeling, hearing, smelling. If we are not here to do these things, then what are we here for?
